ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Another great video, in plain English cheers

Jacob R says:

Great video Danny. I have a sort of advanced question for you. This method works perfectly for me. Where it's a little more of just a right wrist hinge and then I do a little bit of grip roll with pitching as well to get a little higher. But before I understood this technique I did a little more of a sweeping feel, it would feel like I could rotate my left arm back and through and get a nice smooth little pitch or I can even do that with my right wrist as well or it's more rotational. It feels like a sweep and a simple club rotation. Is that every useful from a strategy point of view to have that technique in my bag? Or should I focus more on just the hinge?

Barrett Robin says:

I know it's the camera angle, but it really looks like all his shots are breaking uphill after they land. Love the tips though!

sensa123 says:

Have you done a video on backspin with approach shots to the green? The 80 to 120 yarders?

Christopher S. says:

Another great lesson, Danny! I love to watch your videos. You are very knowledgeable and have a way of teaching that makes even a golfing neophyte like me understand:). Thank you.

Love the hole in one, btw. Really helps cement the lesson. Please do that more often.😁

Clouds Rain says:

Danny #1 great. You have the fine wisdom and gift for sharing your knowledge. Actually headed out to the course to do some putting, chipping and pitching now. Thanks so much!

Roy Champtaloup says:

Great tutorials Danny. Helping me get back into golf. Striking the ball so much better. And most importantly, enjoying it more. And kicking some arse. Thank you!

mulliganpete says:

Subscribed to your channel and your advice has definitely helped improve my game, thank you! Loved how you looked like Mr. Bean @ 6:55 🙂

Diane Clarke says:

What a great explanation and clarification between Chipping and Pitching. How to swing both, as well as which clubs to consider for each type of swing. I just started watching your videos and have learned so much which I can apply to my golf game and improvements.

Ian Pentz says:

Brilliant Danny, I’ve had yips for 2 years as a 6 hdcp, can you imagine the frustration, this best video I’ve seen. I’ve recently watched TV golf world with Mitch Spearman in Bahamas with a young lad giving lessons. One thing he mentioned was to get your triceps attached to the front of your chest ie arms not at side of body but on chest. You say a similar thing, but this allows you to stay attached far better in one piece. It was a little pearl of wisdom, which as you state but the triceps just solidified it all, wow 😮 it’s working, taking club back lower as a result no steep angle of attack chunks any more. Thanks Danny ❤️ your work.

David Manor says:

Always very helpful thanks

David Pritchard says:

Hi Danny, are you sure you don't have a spy watching my game!!! This problem has been holding my scores back for ages. My main problem is as soon as I extend my back swing to try and get more height/spin, I decelerate and either fat or flick and thin the chip. Any drill to help my maintain speed through the ball? Keep up the great content.

GUNALAN NALLIAH says:

I always chipped with my left houlder higher n ending topping the ball. Thanks Danny

Stephen Garner says:

9:44 Yeah not bad! Nice video

berzurk says:

Danny, what is the proper ball placement and stance for this method. I always get confused when they advise everyone to place the ball in the back with open stance to clear the hips.

Sangmin Lee says:

Thanks, Danny. i've known them upside down.

gee gee k says:

Great stuff here.

andrewcpham says:

Very useful Danny thx!

John Gattorna says:

Very clear and concise explanations. Well done, Danny.
