See “the world’s greatest ball striker” Moe Norman in a 1997 clinic which I filmed in Orlando Florida. This was the first time I was lucky enough to see Moe. Nobody ever hit a golf ball as straight as Moe, which is why he is still a legend of the game.

Big Frank West says:

270 yards dead straight in the fairway will always beat 320 yards in the
rough or OB most times than not.

maxxsee says:

Thanks for posting these videos Kirk. Really mean a lot and hope u keep em
coming if u have more!

Ryan Salamone says:

But in all honesty, compared to his peers how much shorter of the tee was
he. His backswing does not generate as much load as other methods..

Timothy Frost says:

Is it just me or is Moe taking bigger divots than in later videos?

Kirk Junge says:

To be honest I think that there was no difference. Maybe for Moe the
feeling was different, but it looks very much the same. I should get some
more of the video edited tomorrow.

Kirk Junge says:

Your welcome, and thanks for the nice comments! The 1997 video was taken
during the PGA show in Orlando. I think it was at Disney, or somewhere
near. Those were the days!!!

nomoyoyo says:

Thanks for sharing.. Would you please point out the difference between
Moe’s swing in this 97 video, and his Manuel de la Torre swing on your 2002
video? They look very similar to me.. Thanks again!

Dom Esposito says:

“Thanks so much” for this wonderful footage. There is little doubt that Mo
Norman found the simplest way to hit a golf ball and I dare say no one ever
covered the target better, shot after shot with every club. …A pleasure
and priviledge to watch him work so easily.

(Rhyme) says:

Jay Horton here, I too was a natural golf instructor va beach and
washington d.c. area. ..i never tire of watching Moe hit balls what a
master.. great vids.. thanx for sharing

Ron Wilks says:

Nice! I can imagine Hogan sitting on is bag just out of frame nodding and
smiling.

maxxsee says:

Thanks for video m8.

Kirk Junge says:

He really did find the most simple way. I have taught hundreds of golfers
to swing like he does. I also have an online learning area on my website
for those who wish to learn a single plane swing similar to Moe’s. Website
is in the description under the video.
