The Ledges, Huntsville, Alabama, USA: The award-winning course was designed by Hurdzan/Fry GCD, Inc., and first opened in 2000. In 2003, Designer Mike Hurdzan was named Designer of the Year by Golf Magazine for his work at The Ledges. He was also chosen as the recipient of the 2013 Old Tom Morris Award by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. The goal of The Ledges developers was to preserve the mountain's natural beauty while creating a world-class golf course. Of the 750 acres set for development, 450 acres were set aside as a natural green belt protecting it from future development. 250 acres of the land are now a nationally recognized golf course, while 150 acres are used for the mountain's residential development.

I was having occasional miss reads and I started thinking about the lighting, so I changed the bulb in my overhead light so it wasn't so bright I made sure there was no lights on behind me where the square might see a reflection. I haven't had a misread since. And I can putt a 1 foot putt no problem. Also having the plexiglass can give a glare or a slight reflection from too much lighting on the ball just my opinion, I noticed you got that pin light and it's looking pretty bright. I could be wrong but it seemed to work for me

I've played around with putting on my square trying to see how short a putt it would read. I've gotten down to about 18 inches before it missed a read. Left a 2 foot putt short, which was what I was trying to do…
