Newbie question here but are you allowed to pick up the ball and realign it before a put? Otherwise this tip is pointless, right?
I tried this and it raised my handicap by 5 strokes.
These things do instil fear. I remember using 9” grinders now they’re banned in the workplace as are 1mm cut off wheels for the 5”. They instil fear in new people, well not anymore.
At least you can still use them in the home.

A Formula 1 driver can tell the diff in 1mm of ride height. As for me whether its a putt or driving on the freeway Im never going to be as aware of small details as a pro.
This is what we call pricing in. You take and every single data point you try and fix it to see if it can help. What happens is to much priced in = good results but not the best. The best come from a natural flow instead of a formulated flow. This is why you see John Daly and Tiger Woods with major success. They really just played the game. The best way to get good at a shot under 5 foot is to hit that shot several times. The line may even throw you off and then you scratch your head "but I had my line" It's cuz that was a tool and not something to improve your skill. Your skill still needs to improve. This may help temporarily but, not every time.
