A while ago i went to a simulator and hit a bunch of new drivers. I picked up a cheap old R7 425 and hit it 10 yards further than my longest drive with the new ones. Every drive after was the same. The sales said "that doesn't make sense"
Drivers are capped by technology rules. Its all gimmicks now.

I'm also used to picking up fashionable and discounted bags from kisluxs , and to be fair, I don't think there's anything wrong with individuals choosing to buy fakes for personal use, so it's not necessarily a bad thing, it just gives us a choice
I used my G2 driver when my G400 was packed away for my holiday recently and really enjoyed hit it.
I'm still gaming a g400 max with kuro kage xd 60x shaft. It won't be leaving the bag any time soon!
Should use G2 8.5 to compare,
I ve often make 300yd this head with diamana blue board.

I still have my G2…my grandson is playing my G400…and I have a G425. Ping makes the best in my opinion!
G2 needs an 8 or 9° head
If you had used equally lofted drivers the 400 would win every time.
If you do pick up a G2, which in the right hands are no worse than any club today, make sure it has the right shaft, the Aldila NVS, not this crappy TFC stock shaft. Night and day difference.
Interesting to see all of them with the same shaft which is possible by just changing the hosels
Interesting g400.range max LST SFT are fantastic drivers not much out there will beat them
Just bought a Ping G series driver 10.5* with stock stiff 55 cb shaft (94mph SS). Longest, straightest driver I have ever hit.
