Hi James love your reviews, watching from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

I recently switched from a SIM2 hybrid to the Ping 440 3H. It was night and day for me—not so much in distance, but in forgiveness. No fades, no draws, just bombs. So naturally I thought now is the time to upgrade from the SIM2 Max. Jumped on the SIM st local golf shop and distance gained = none. mind you, when comparing, my SIM2 had my gamer shaft (Ventus Blue TR 7X velo) but for me these shaft don’t gain yardage, they just tighten dispersion. So me and the salesperson just looked at each other—I guess I’ll game this for another year. Had it since launch, nothing outperforms its like 6 years old now. Everything is just marketing, don’t waste money ladies and gentlemen.

LST 440 Best driver I owned.. Played all major brands earlier. Only donwside, stock shafts not fitted me so „had“ to spend an additional 400,- Euro for a custom shaft..

I'm still playing the G410, James. How do the late models compare to the best of the earlier models? Thanks for the work you do for your YouTube community.

@RaffiRex says:

Hi James, as a PING fitter here in Sweden that also uses the Denali Red myself, what made you choose that specific shaft? Did you go with the 50g or 60g? 6.0?

I think it's ALL a bunch of hype lol…..i bought a ping g425 max back in 2022 and it changed my game completely…i didn't know what it was like to play from within wedge distance IN the fairway all the time ( i was ALWAYS fighting a slice) … well things happen and jobs change…golf went on hold for three years…this year i came back to it but the ONE club I found missing from my bag is the g425 driver …. I'm mad but i can afford another one…but then I see the new 430 max 10k and think man they even improved on THAT…. fortunately the guy at dicks sporting goods convinced me that the MAX actually stood for the 10k and the 10k itself was only on the sticker…i knew better and REALLY didn't like that he had to scan ANOTHER club because the one he sold ne didn't even have the bar code sticker on the shaft…. likely a test ir floor model… definitely NOT the 10k version which I'm glad because I think the regular max is more adjustable…. anyhow I was HIGHLY disappointed in performance….i just couldn't get the SAME results…of course the dick at dicks sold me a stiff shaft version as well so I got another one kbs regular flex HL ( high launch) and DAMN!!! i don't know if it's a combination of finally getting my swing back after three years or the recipe I have discovered for this driver ….but I actually hit a dead straight 278 yard drive the other day without even trying ….my swing speed is less than 90 mph on my BEST swing…so technology is definitely playing some part ….but once I started swinging properly again and the slice went back away …i think I had more control,feel, distance, everything out of the g425 max ….i highly doubt that the 440 max is any better …if so then it's because they went back to the 425 max formula … which would mean the 430 max was a mistake … likely WHY they came along with the 10k version in order to try and account for the misjudged release…. LOL…
I have the regular g430 max ( by the fate of the golf gods) and it is ALL i need for NOW….. LOL…..

@johnanderson6614 says:

I have around 105mph clubhead speed and went to get a fitting for the 440 LST and i was getting like 1500rpms lol. So they put in me in the Max and i was surprised how low of spin it still had! The cool thing is that it wasn't falling out of the air though and my misses are much closer together. I've only played a couple rounds but I'm already hitting more fairways.

@johnhenderson2642 says:

you just know the g440 max 10k is coming in 9 months… what a rip off..

@Paul-kw1og says:

What are the shaft specs and hosel settings that you were using?

@chuckmcdermott7053 says:

Thinner face, they have redistributed the weight, sounds better, goes 10 yards further, blah, blah, blah. Guess what we will be reading with the new ‘27 drivers? Thinner face, redistributed the weight, sounds better and goes 10 yards further.

@jtuds says:

I don’t like the blue …head cover looks cheap. But at the end of the day it’s about performance

@shaneOo says:

your launch monitor seems busted

@hjvm22 says:

Is that the Denali shaft?

@pakmughaffar says:

Which shaft was fitted on the Drivers mate?

@dandunne-d5b says:

What’s the MOI on the LS tech

@alistairaitken3054 says:
