Serious disrespect to Pete Cowen with this title

@katananick says:

Can’t overestimate importance of left hand only practice – a la John Daily but sort them trousers out mate.

@randyduane5370 says:

Excellent video content. It would be helpful to use a camera stand to eliminate the excessive movement in the video.

@golfaddict86 says:

Very different to what is being taught by Bryson De Chambeau's coach on the 'Scratch to Scratch' YouTube channel, he's big on head staying behind the ball and having quite an arched back with high hands on the follow through, not saying either is right btw. I recorded my swing using the swing method taught by Liam in this and other videos and it's easily the most open I've ever been at impact which is something I struggle with, will give it a go at the range later this evening.

@truthseeker5447 says:

Josh, id really like to understand the fundamentals better of what Liam teaches and how to incorporate them but live in the US. Could you do a video detailing what youre feeling or specific drills to have a more motion based swing. Im constantly stuck on the micro.

@bjohnson515 says:

Been watching Josh…..for quite a while. Subscribed, up voted, etc..
BUT, if you are really a PLUS 5 handicap, what are you doing taking a lesson?
Jon Rahm is a Plus 6 at his club in Scottsdale.

Danny Maud must be the UK's No. 1 coach.

@nastybadger-tn4kl says:

Deliberate weight shift routine is not needed. That is for bad golfers who have not figured out their body.

I watched mad max movie long ago , there was one scene he was in a car and car in fire and he has to escape. not much time left ( not sure mel gibson or villain). But that is what you should feel. No time left. its now.

If you dont know golf swing , how can you hit fast?

"Only if you get into slot position very early in top of down swing" . jack nickalous used flying elbow and used more shoulder power.

But you do not need those. Just push the right wrist to up and lock right arm palm and elbow. Drop the arm and let whole body behind wrist and let the club fly.

Practice locking right hand turn body 1000 times around it and let body memorize it. Like right wirst hit wall left side of it and whole body rotate so right palm touch the wall. faster and faster.

Now not all pros has this correct. tiger woods had it locked.

Brain and body forgets if you dont play golf for 2 weeks. So you have to create your own drills and write down the feel so you dont forget that eurekha move of throwing club

Key measurement is right shoulder is close to right wrist and same vertical line. Elbow stuck to side.

There will be lots of stress in hand so lots of dumbell muscle building wrist is needed. No gain without pain.

@nastybadger-tn4kl says:

First of all , your leg has to be still. what is this knee moving weird way. All force all mind on center of gravity. Use right wrist near right palm as your swing lead and move body and everything behind. Whole body give away and wrist lead.

Silence and Explosion. Leveraging One Point. Something static during swing. Body react to that static by turning body and shoulder tilt.

Its like RIFLE SHOT. BOOM.

You got all bad routines and weird pause.

I saw old michellie wie video , she got most technical swing i ever saw.

You got clever mind but body and swing has bad habits.

Thanks for sharing this Josh

@playboi_lotus says:

love the swing and game my man! Any tips on practicing on mats? For some reason i find myself much better on pure soil but whenever I hop on the mat Im duffing them left and right. I’m also a very mediocre player mind you as i’m just wrapping up my first full year of golf. Would appreciate any tips, thanks and keep it up!

One of the best video on Liam insight into his swing model (though it isn’t a model but get my drift)

Question for you mate when you feel that you are getting off it does your head not move too much in the backswing feeling this or does this not matter? Thanks

@nastybadger-tn4kl says:

I really dont like josh oddy swing and his pre shot routine.

its just me.

Because i want to feel the plane swing and body support for that.

Bending left knee like that in current swing is not good.

Its better than nothing but for Golf God you need to hit the ball without thinking

Can you be Golf god? Anyone can.

They have to be their own teacher.

First unrestricted free flow swing in plane. may be he should buy that plane rings got popular in 1990s.

Core speed test. Club speed test.

Club speed of 130mph and 190mph ball speed.

Now he can swing club without touching ball and see how fast he can swing consistently

Body swing is only for wedges and mid iron.

Driver and 3 wood , hit as fast as your body allows. Most people hit driver every where like wesley (bryan bros). Mainly because they over swing and leg cant hold them back. Its angular momentum , if you over swing it pulls body in front and mess up shot

Lots of amateur stuck in low speed because if they hit harded ball can go anywhere. Leg strength is key to good golf.

You need to have fun when you play golf. Otherwise no point.

To have fun in golf , you need to hit ball with 50% energy 50% effort.

Otherwise you will be constantly eating to replenish body.

@bazabollox says:

Thanks Josh, some great nuggets in there! Go well fella👍

@russellthomas7056 says:

There's quite a lot of these #1 coaches.

@jordanversteeg6693 says:

You might of explained it in other videos but can you show the drills you’ve been repping?

@johnhue8933 says:

Josh, It is very obvious that you are swinging better since working with Liam, the swing looks better and you are moving better and you can see you are just doing it and not thinking about it when playing the shot. You used to have a paint by numbers look to your motion and that has now gone.

@basilbean4428 says:

This video has blown my mind, somewhere along the line I thought you two were the same person! I know this makes no sense
