This is my first of many golf lessons with Liam Robinson.
He is the most spoken about golf coach right now, and I was so lucky to be able to film this first lesson at Heythrop Park.

These drills are like hitting with a balance board great idea!
Josh like ur game and swing. May I make a few suggestions? 1) Choke down a little (more than now)…..on all clubs, especially pitch/chip shots. Think Fleetwood. 2) pick spot foot/2 feet in front of ball before firing (along intended target/swing path), stay focused on that longer.
sounds like a egotistical tool
What exactly do you mean by throwing the club?
Little canopy around the side of the camera, will block the wind noise
A world-class coach deserves decent sound.
2 drills and Blah, Blah, Blah…
Josh v James match required
Can we have an update video since the lesson. Great content and Iβm sure a lot of people want to know how youβve progressed since with the step drills etc
Another Liam video to absorb. Iβm a member of TGN but watch everything on YouTube as well to pick up more info
Hopefully sort an in person lesson this year too
Actually baffles me how people can watch a 50 minute FREE video of a lesson with liam that costs you over Β£100ph and have the audacity to complain when im almost certain theyre not members of TGN and have never watched any of the actual towel drill videos on the site. The amount of 'i know better' people in golf is astounding ππ
Hi Josh, maybe I am wrong, but probably people at your level, with an amazing handicap, the problem is not about achieving a perfect swing technique (yours is beautiful), but focusing in other direction. Pros train around 8 hours per day since they are kids. Maybe there is a moment that in order to achieve a certain level, is just about volume & quality training, not perfect swing. Just thinking loudly. Keep this amazing content.
I am looking at picking up the Avoda combo irons after seeing your videos. One question – I love the look of the black irons, but curious if the black finish noticeably wears off? Any concern on the finish long term?
This is what we've been waiting for J.O. πββοΈπββοΈ
Quality. Come On
Challenge Tour next π€π€
Terrible sound
Would love to see you and Liam do an on-course playing lesson, maybe playing 2 or 3 balls over 4/5 holes
great video! may i ask, are you brandon's cousin? you talk very similar
That move in that direction at 37.00, still canβt understand it, as surely , how can the hands with handle in them, exit the swing to our left ? When your moving in that direction of club on the floor. Looks like your left side is blocking that part. Just my opinion.
Looked like Brandon in the other bay. Another cracking player.
why are you pretending to be +6, when it is the most easy thing in the world to see that you are not. Do not confuse other people, that just ruins the actual respect for true scratch golfers
TrackmanAsh on the right? I remember his chipping lessons with James Wiltshire. Cracking coach also. Shame about the audio but I heard the coach fine which was the most improtant thing ππ
@joshoddy order a few "deadcat" fluffy things for your mics
This student needs to stop talking so much and start listening more!!!
Shhhhhhh
Great video well done π
That sync'd up practice swing with Brando at 07:35 made me chuckle.
Great to get more insight into a lesson w/Liam!
