I hit the ping great but… I hit the titleist further consistently.

There’s a reason I don’t subscribe to this channel.

@brawrecords says:

No consideration for shaft, lie, loft. Useless.

@DanaSchmidt-k5v says:

Ping makes good products, but I purchased the GT2. Titleist allows veterans discounts. Ping will not allow their dealers to offer one.

James
I would really like to see a head to head test between a 2019 driver, eg the Cobra F9, and a 2024 driver, eg a Ping g430 10k.
Has technology improved that much in 5 years?
Should I change?
Thanks.

@darrencoupe5950 says:

Just ordered my GT2, so far on the course longer and more forgiving than other drivers I’ve tried and I’m a 19 hcp, hopefully for not much longer

@mxshredder4445 says:

Is it me or is this guy a titelist glazer

@alex99398 says:

I like that you made a call. Not any of this "if you prefer a bigger head for confidence, go Ping" rubbish. Ping is a great driver but I'm team Titleist. There's something about the timeless and beautiful head design that inspires confidence at address. Even if the Ping was longer by 5 years, I'd still stay with Titleist, but that's a personal thing…

@jimorr3252 says:

When you guys test clubs that’s great, however have a 12 or 15 handicapper doing these tests that’s what helps most people who watch these videos!

@lkae4 says:

Ping 10K came out quite low to my eye. It's a low spin beast. If GT2 and Ping 10K are close on indoors numbers, Ping 10K is clear winner in the long term through poor swings and poor weather.

@jakerichardson5762 says:

Poor video have to say unfortunately – not enough info on data / numbers comparison and then you've said you prefer the feel of both – doesn't make sense when I clicked as you put 'CLEAR WINNER!' ….

@stuartandrews5103 says:

Surely that’s why you go to a fitting? I went in for the GT2 and it was nowhere near the numbers I was getting from 10k max. Be open minded about what may suit you

@callmehjames5089 says:

That's because ping sucks

@fat-shotgolf2937 says:

Just been fitted into the Ping G430 Max.
Do you think Titleist have ripped off the recently released Kirkland driver with the G2?

@bryanlemontm says:

These reviewers are in a tough spot. They want to give you an honest opinion but they have to be super careful or they 1) won’t get the early access they need to new products. They need this early access to generate views. 2) they could possibly get sued.

@Erictheking66 says:

James, Titleist did a carbon top driver years ago… The 909 D-Comp

@1wfunston1 says:

Very confusing video. Your inside vs outside footage are completely contradicting

@tomnewsted5004 says:

Ok James I am so jealous of that beautiful golf course. You should invite a follower to come to the UK and play some of those great courses. To the point of these drivers I am very glad I waited until this driver came out because I am ready to replace my Epic Speed.

@gillgareth says:

GT2 crap where as Ping 10k Max dogs bullocks.

@andersun16 says:

I'm not sure a PGA Pro is the right person to demonstrate forgiveness. Thinking I'd rather have a +20 handicapper hit them both about 25 teams each and then see what their spread is.

Buzzer wars in the comment

@DrewJZ says:

I have been doing a lot of testing with gt2 vs my AI Smoke triple diamond. AI Smoke is miles longer, goes further and straighter on missed hits, and continually has higher ball speed. For me, gt2 launches too high and spins about 500 rpm more than the Callaway. It's good, it does exactly as advertised. Higher launch, more spin, but everything else is the same as most drivers.

@0711graham says:

Bought the ping, love it

@shenanigans2025 says:

When testing for forgiveness, surely you should try hitting them all over the face & look at dispersion?

@deankyall1 says:

Just get a tsr2 or 3, they don’t just become bad overnight!! Save a load of cash

@edwindham305 says:

I really tried to like the GT2 but finally ended up with the Ping g430 Max 10k. Very happy with it.

@dbo4506 says:

The second drive, the ping won easily. You hit it like dog 💩 and it still was middle and right next to the gt2. Your opinions throughout are confusing at best. Feels like you’re pushing GT2. Paid advertisement. GT2 is mid. Same as your integrity.

@dbo4506 says:

GT2 is mid at best.

@stevecernuto740 says:

I tried the 430max, 10K and the GT2. The 10K was too spinny, the 440 and GT2 were very similar but the the GT2 was very consistent. The numbers were the same for every swing. The 430 won out on price. One interesting thing was the 430Max was the best with the same shaft that the Ping online driver fitting recommended.
