The Cobra KING 3DP MB irons are the latest muscleback blade irons from Cobra, but with a twist. Using a 3D-printed construction, the Cobra KING 3DP MB irons are engineered to be the most forgiving muscle‑back on the market and they deliver Tour‑level looks and buttery feedback with surprising stability when you don’t hit it perfect. How do they stack up against the previous Cobra KING MB irons?

With the Marketing from Cobra and the nearly 100% increase in price, I had hoped that all of the promises about the 3DP irons would have been true. I have not personally hit the 3DP, but I have hit the King MB and as a mid handicapper (-16.2 at the time), I can say that the King MB is easily the most forgiving blade I've hit and I am comparing it to Mizuno as well as the Miura KM700 which claim to be more forgiving but are not nearly as forgiving as the King MB from my experience. I've watched a test of the King MB where they break down the face impact points and it loses very little distance or direction (up to 4% loss) on hits as far away as .75 cm towards the toe, 1.5 cm towards the heal and as low as .60 cm. For those that do not know, that is approaching game improvement cavity back forgiveness. I would encourage anyone with even an average "descending blow" swing to give the King MB/CB combo set a try. I ended up getting the combo set and have not regretted it. My handicap has now dropped to a 10.4 because the clubs encourages you to improve your swing.
stainless steel mass production 3d printing is about RMB3.00 per gram, so a head is about 280g about give or take less than 90US per head and then you throw in mass production discount probably 70 per head. so if retail for 3-4 k still massive amount of margin
Before I pulled the trigger on the tour version I did confirm (with Cobra) the 3D irons can be bent. I have 4,5,6,7,8 all one degree weak. I love my set. They are the absolute bees 🐝
I"m a sucker for a good quarter zip!
Can you test the 3DP Tour vs 3DP X
all of the new 3DP Irons are $330 per stock… 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
It was weird it might have been shaft or where the weight is located in the head but I hit the forged blade better than the 3dp I wanted it to work but just wasn’t having good contact with it. Normal blade was flush
Cool video. Would have loved to see the 3dp tour vs king tour as well. Would have personally helped me in my research 😊
Kevin your on Staff😂 I just got the Callaway 150 AI irons. They are pretty small. The 3-D is easier to hit.
The King MB has 1.3 mm offset while the 3DP MB has 2.2 mm. So there is a big difference in offset. I like to see little to no offset. And I like the looks of the King MB better. Int's more clean.
I’d like to see some strike locations and bigger misses on these. Hard to tell on a small sample size without showing strike locations if it’s actually any more forgiving.
The 3D printed irons are so sleek and good looking – why did they stick that big a77ed Cobra logo on the back and hosel? If they shrunk those down to half size it would be perfect.
Fair enough. 😂
