This video features a comparison of Custom Fit irons vs Ladies golf irons with Emma Carpenter. When it comes to women golfers, too often we see at 2nd Swing players going right to the Ladies golf irons section. While ladies golf irons will help many golfers, it's important for all golfers to experience a custom fitting to ensure the golf clubs they play fit their swing, not their age or gender.

Emma has more club head speed than many men. Not typical of the average woman golfer. I would be embarrassed to play golf with her. I would still enjoy watching her crush it though. 👍

Great video! I would love to see you guys have a video where you fit for a newer lady golfer who has around 6 months – 1 year experience. These clients are where they are ready to move out of a package set or goodwill set and to get fit for their first true set of clubs, but they run into the typical stigmatization of ladies vs men's clubs. Golf clubs don't care about your sex or gender, they just care about your swing!

A lot of what we need to do as well is empower our clients to believe in themselves that they are worth getting fit for their clubs. Invest and believe in yourself, you are always worth it!

Why would Emma be "shocked" it went 167-170y on the GI club? Her 7 I carried 154 so she can't carry her 6 iron (same loft @30°) 167? Better comparison would have been the Ping 7i and T150 in 6i so it's loft to loft. Also most ladies I know and play with aren't swinging 81mph so find an average ladie golfer 65-70mph and see how they do. These vids are a bit silly guys.

I want to see Emma more often on the show. At a minimum she is much better looking than KK.
On the subject of golf clubs for women….i just got a 7 hybrid, and was only able to find one with a ladies flex shaft…. And before I pulled the shaft, I played with it a couple of nine holes….. and the bottom line is that until I start missing with it…it’s going to stay in the bag as is. Liked it so much that got a 6 hybrid also in ladies flex.
Crazy this game of ours.

Love videos with Emma in them, she always looks as though she is just having a lot of fun.

@Sevenh1101 says:

It depends on the golfer. If you play socially a few times a year, don't sweat the rules, and enjoy a cocktail on the course, a standard package set is perfectly fine. But if you're serious about improving your game, getting fitted is the way to go.

Love these reviews… most of the time. This lady is hard to take sometimes.

@zazhou says:

What is the difference in offset between the two irons?

@lawbinson says:

With all the talk of loft and face, we need to see Dynamic loft and face angle please

@lawbinson says:

Interested in seeing the difference!
