Interesting comment about the toe sitting in looking a bit closed. I thought that on the G400 I hit today. Is this common to all Ping drivers recently?
Got the regular g430 max …I love it …got the same 3 wood in a 40.5 inch version… love it too… Playing the best golf of my life now LOL….

I don’t know why anyone would buy this with those lumps turbulators or whatever they are called on there. I prefer the Qi10 max and get on well with that. All these are so over priced it’s crazy. They are like half the price in a year from release.
I don't spend money on clubs too often, but wife and I agreed a couple of years ago that I would research what was right for me and spend a bit and then stay with my purchases for a few years. Very happy with the irons I ended up with – a blend of Mizuno JPX923s (Hot Metal 4 thru 7 and Hot Metal Pro 8 thru PW). I liked the Titleist TSR Drivers. I thought since this was year 3 (final year) of the TS project they would hold up well, so I splurged and got both the TSR2 and TSR3. Now I'm set for several years (or so I thought). Then Titleist quickly comes out with their GTs with a significant increase in swing speed. What the hell Titleist? That pissed me off. Tested a Ping G430 Max 10K and it (for me) easily matched the swing speed of the GT and essentially the same distance but better forgiveness. I hadn't personally been burned by Ping (pre and post 10K versions) so I bought the Max 10K and love it. The TSRs now just sit at home looking pretty but doing nothing.

I never buy a "new" model. I always wait until the next model comes out and buy a new "old" model. My G430SFT arrives tomorrow!
I’ve played the Ping G430 Max for the past 12 months and found it to be decent—but strangely, I never really loved it. After watching quite a few reviews of the new G430 Max 10K, I decided to give it a shot and picked one up.
Today was my first round with it, and all I can say is—the difference is very noticeable. I hit more fairways than ever, and it both feels and sounds better than the standard G430 Max.
I’m a 20 handicapper, but I could clearly see and feel the improvements. Really pleased with the purchase.
tested both (ping chrome tour 65S) and there was a 1 yard difference in carry (430 max), 200rpm spin difference (max 10k SLIGHTLY higher) and near zero difference in dispersion
glad i saved the money and got the "regular" max
A year later and both the boys are gaming these now
I just bought mine and I love the 10k. The sound is something that took me a bit to get used to, but I love it
Not a scam. The 430 Max 10k sits between the Max and the LST.

The G400 Max (8 years old) has over 9900 MOI. Save your $$$ Go buy the old version. 99% golfers wouldn't know the difference

If people were honest with themselves and admit their ability, then it’s pointless spending stupid money on the latest drivers, it’s no good having a £550 club with a £1.50 swing. If the most expensive clubs are the best then why aren’t millionaires all single figure handicaps

I got rid of my G430 Max and replaced it with a G425 Max which is just as accurate and yet longer. The big mistake I made was letting my G400 Max go. The G430 Max is Rubbish don't buy it !
