Claiming victory on the first playoff hole New Zealander Michael Hendry has broken the draught becoming the first Kiwi winner of the ISPS HANDA New Zealand Open in 14 years.

He won over fellow New Zealander Ben Campbell and Australian Brad Kennedy.
