Your golf simulator impact screen takes a lot of abuse. It can also be a costly replacement that we want to avoid. In today's video I discuss a mistake that caused my impact screen wear out quicker than it should have.
My Carl's Place premium impact screen is the best there is. It's made from the best thick, multilayer fabric, using the tightest weave possible, this hitting screen provides superior image quality, reduces sound, minimizes bounceback, and blocks ambient light.
I always battled dirt and dust by maintaining a clean environment and equipment thinking that would make my screen last as long as possible.
Well… there was one mistake I made that ended up costing me dearly. I would use my Titleist ProV1's from aboutGOLF until the markings were not able to be read by the 3Trak system. That meant I was using balls that the casing had worn off and was causing my screen to melt when the ball would impact and spin. Those marks cannot be fixed.
Learn from my mistakes and spend more money to replace balls more frequently. A small investment will save you from having to make a larger investment earlier than anticipated.
