The new PING G440 K Driver aims to be a revolutionary driver in the market with ultra high MOI in combination with center-of-gravity weight adjustability. It features dual CarbonFly Wrap that created discretionary weight, which PING used to push the limits of MOI in an adjustable driver. A 32-gram adjustable weight in the back of the club also allows golfers to adjust the center of gravity in the PING G440 K driver to optimize launch and trajectory.

During this livestream, 2nd Swing's Drew Mahowald is joined by master club fitter Kevin Kraft to test and review the new PING G440 K Driver with Trackman technology. The test will feature the different settings available on the PING G440 K driver thanks to the 32-gram adjustable rear weight.

This driver didn’t seem to be that great for dispersion.

@jameydb says:

We normal golfers can’t relate to Kevin swinging the club.
Give us a mid-handicap golfer test with slower swing speeds.

I was all set on the ping 440k and I’ll still try it but now the Mizuno jpx one is taking top spot for trying out

@randallpennington5976 says:

I am a big fan of Ping clubs, I play all Ping irons and hybrids, but I have always struggled with their drivers!

@SMUGAMER says:

Just an observation but Kevin sets up in every way to hit a hook to push-draw, which is probably NOT best for a driver with a draw/hook bias. He sets up really far away from the ball (too far IMO), so much the ball sets up outside the club at address, which makes him push out on his toes to reach the ball at impact, which also causes his toe strikes along with a closed stance, and not to mention and severe in-to-out path………..dude really wants to see the ball go right to left…….tough to score with all that encouraging duck hooks that run forever, usually into trouble……

Great stuff again. And thanks for answering the questions during the live stream. Any plans for 2nd Swing to come to LA/OC?

@daniel80111 says:

Does Kevin swing ping drivers slower than other brands? I’ve noticed I swing ping drivers 3 mph slower than some other brands

@n33d_help says:

TM4, in my experience, struggles to accurately show strike location, spin, and even ball flight (on mis-hits) indoors. If you're doing an in-depth look at spin/strike location like you did here, it would be better with the iO or Quad.
