ABOUT ME:
I’m Liam Harrison, Bolton born and bred. I’m a lover of Golf, life and laughter.
Started Golf 12 years ago after packing in football when i was 28 due to a back injury.
I started the Youtube channel as a laugh and a Wim, to make me practice but that went out the window as i started vlogging, loving being on camera but more so the interaction with my #golfmates.
In 14 months i have seen the channel evolve and become the only real golf community on Youtube which i am extremly proud of.
I would like to thank all the #golfmates that have been with us and supported us and the channel from the start. Also not forgetting our new #golfmates that may have only just come across the channel.
WOULD YOU TRY THEM #GOLFMATES £27
Thanks Liam – we've been producing balls for some time for the Japanese market. Quietly and steadily getting a reputation in Europe over the last couple of years. Have a look at the JPX and JPX-s as well…….hugely improved on anything we've had at that price point.
Just bought a dozen, normally use Pro V's. Let's see.?
Good ball Liam but Zstar take some beating ?
Ive been playing them for 5 years now and still impressed with them but here in Germany they cost near on double the price as in England.. so eBay uk it is then
I played the MPS for a bit but for me the MPX was slightly better. They are great balls, especially now the price has come down by a tenner since their original release.
I loved them and used them for a while but then changed to Bridgestone which I still use now. I choose the ball on how it feels to putt with them and prefer Bridgestone.
Used them a few years ago quality ball but found driver spin to high, current,y using pro v1x but they are expensive – price of these makes much more sense so must be worth a try ?
It's the same story like with other brands – I play for example Vice golf balls – also pretty cheap compared to other premium balls. Do I feel a difference? No! They spin like premium balls, they fly like premium balls, but they don't cost as much as a premium ball! So why should I pay more for driving to feed the fish!? … ;o)
Liked the review Liam, will be giving these a try.
Checked online, if you live in the USA, you can only get them from Japan, $60 a dozen! Brand new ProV 1 is only $53, Chrome Soft $44; so def not worth the cost.
Switched from srixon AD333 to JPX, love them.
Sounds like they are worth giving a try .? What wedge and loft do you chip with pal ?☺
Love the mizuno balls i am currently using them and I am very impressed
I'm not a guy that would normally be tempted by the feel of different balls …….but your convincing me that it might be worth a try…….My god how will the wife feel about this!!
Great review Liam, will be looking at these from now on
Great video. You are really working on the production quality I think!
Mizuno gear is top quality period. I think WilsonStaff and Mizuno are both excellent in terms of quality. Both brands are ignored because of a lack of market presence – many shops don't carry them and they lack the flamboyant trophy players that attract consumers. Wilson probably damaged their brand by selling junk package sets. Mizuno have decided not to compete with the other guy's marketing budgets. You should also try the WilsonStaff DX3 Urethane ball – 3 piece ball with a Urethane cover at a similar price to the Mizuno MP S.
Nice one Liam will defo give them a try
Interesting isn't it? An ordinary ( sorry Liam!) golfer, not paid by a manufacturer, says it the way it is. I honestly believe that Titleist make the best balls have for 40 years. Question is, how much better, and can the non tour pro, " average" golfer really tell the difference? How much for a slight perceived difference? £20-30 per dozen?? That is the question. Think you answered that golf mate! Thumbs up from me
Been playing CS for 2 years and here in Australia they are $45 a box, the MPS are $69 a box, why would I change?
Not used them but as you say not something I've seen before on shelves. In trying Wilson dx2 balls at the moment. I usually get second-hand titliest velocity balls cheap.
Never hit a mizuno balls but I do love srixon ultra soft balls only £19.99 feel nice chipping feel nice of my driver try them
Great review not a ball I have looked at to be honest as reasonably new to the game not tried that many different ones but would give them a go. Not got a handicap yet as not joined a club but hope to soon. Really love the channel Liam. If you have a navy top in large I'd be interested. Cheers again.
Cracking review mate, I sure will be testing these bad boys. Need to get online to find some, never seen any in a pro shop. Straight forward, no nonsense, no launch data bullshit……. loved it??????????????⛳?️
Great review Liam; pretty damn thorough and entertaining too. I've never seen you sink so many putts!
Have to say I have never seen Mizuno golf balls on sale anywhere. May have to get some on-line and give them a go
Cheers, #500
Have you ever tried the Wilson DX2 ball. Only 20 euro a dozen here in Ireland and I played them all summer. I always played the Titleist Pro V but these are even softer. Great vlog by the way Liam….
So you’re saying these are a bit better than real line golf balls? ?
Great video bud,,honest as always, they definitely worth a look at ?️♂️
normally play chrome soft when they run out I will try some, thanks for a good honest review
