The new Srixon ZXiR irons represent a new addition to the Srixon ZXi iron lineup. The Srixon ZXiR irons bring game-improvement performance with the help of a new i-Alloy material for softer feel and a refined sweet spot to help retain performance on shots struck lower on the clubface. But how do the Srixon ZXiR Irons compare to the Srixon ZXi4 irons, which offer a similar profile in terms of shape and size.

@Tywithay says:

If the sweet spot is lower then shots out of the middle of the face are above the cg and will lower the spin.

@Ro-gn7zg says:

Not a good test. Game improvement irons testing at 92 mph??

@Poolproaz says:

The conclusions drawn here are laughable. Compare them tomorrow, and hit the ZXi4 first, and with five warmup shots the ZXiR will probably have a tighter dispersion. That said, drawing conclusions from ten shots is really reaching.

@RussMitchell-k1q says:

I have a blended set of 4’s and 5’s. 6,7,8 in 4’s but bent 2 degrees weak and then the 5’s standard in 9 and PW.j. This way i get enough height to hold greens

@markstevens6902 says:

Why don't you get someone with the swing speeds these clubs were built for to do the comparison.

@JetskiMike says:

What does this mean for guys who hit an 8 iron 150 yards? I guess we'll never know. Anyways, both of these are inferior to the Cleveland Zipcore xl iron

@f34rth3p4nd says:

What is meant by player development iron?

@egolf8814 says:

I ordered these zx ir I am scratch .
Feel like I want to just make this as easy as I can the older I get. Hope I can hit a 120 3/4 wedge, that will be the issue if there’s one

@kurts8522 says:

How about having players who need game improvement clubs take these tests. I volunteer myself.

@Lotsareps says:

I fail to understand why you use a scratch type golfer to test a game improvement club. No value in this.

@anthonybending2687 says:

Bullshit test,,,need older slower testers,, pointless

@kevinmckowen says:

I love you guys at second swing and Harrison is the best reviewer you've ever had keep him on board

@georgeforrester462 says:

Big Srixon fan but I just don’t get why we needed this release? ZX4 is the game improvement model that suits mid- high handicaps.

@christophersiegert8035 says:

So what is the point? They’re the same club

@bj_feelgood says:

Test the full Srixon lineup at an average swing speed. Would be cool to see the whole lineup around 24° with SS in the 80s. Test 7, 5, 4, R, and U.

@mufc778 says:

That swing is insane
