Ping drivers sound like coffee cans. Face looks closed at address.

@RevTrevNFL says:

Thank you for making this video. I’m looking at purchasing a used G30 and seeing this review helped me make my decision.

@television3771 says:

thats a 240 carry swing if he nuts it.

@jayboley9683 says:

I have the G30 and been playing it for 4 years and it's a beast. Previous driver was a Titleist D3 902 I believe, can't remember but, the ping kills it. Tempted to trade it in for the G400. Might just wait a some to see if ping comes out with something new in 2021.

@tylerbert7661 says:

Why would you want your ping driver to sound like a Callaway or Taylor made it got its name from the ping

@jmoakley1 says:

Good stuff. I have a G30 and can get a deal on a G400 but is the 400 really better?

@habs7646 says:

290 carry with that swing lmao i love internet

I am playing a 2007 Taylor Made burner and I thinking about testing the Ping G400 to see if I can get a noticeable increase in distance. 5 to 6 yards wouldn't make me think about changing but 10 to 15 would. What's your thoughts on this? I'm 65 playing a senior shaft.

@raymondthompson9956 says:

The G400 sound matches that of the Ping i15 sound, perfect!

@jasonsechrist1 says:

Nobody ever takes into account that the older clubs are wore more which loses some distance. They get metal fatigue from getting pounded over and over. The g30 would deliver the same as the g400 if it were new, I've tested them. I got a g30 that was still brand new and tested it against the g400 and they were almost identical.

@highsnburgers4862 says:

Nice short backswing, body gets through, solid contact, good distance.

@SpceItOut says:

The g is amazing

@bobr3012 says:

Can you compare the G440 vs Steelhead XR fairways?

@chrisgreenslade6504 says:

Well there is a surprise the new driver goes the longest, Hardly going to say its the same as the previous model.

@swatsonphysicsmathteacher5079 says:

I might trade in the G30 just for the lesser "ping" sound, but I've got the JPX900 on the way instead…

@Chewyness says:

I don't know if the g400 was actually longer, it seems like you're delivering each shoot with around 2-3 more degrees of loft that's probably what's giving your distance rather then the actual club. All clubs go pretty much the same distance it's just which ever if fitted to you more correctly that performs better

@SolomonLi says:

There are so many factors though… Were these hit back to back to back? Or did you switch between drivers as you loosened up? Though, I could see how a smaller head may also produce a faster club head speed considering there'd be less surface area for the air to drag over to give some extra distance…

@yadthink says:

Interesting! I thought the smaller clubhead on the G400 would generate faster swings, but the ball speeds of the G and G400 were the same. The only noticeable diff seemed to be a higher launch angle with the G400. I suppose the big issue is 8-10 more yards with driver probably doesn't lower scores.

@butette says:

That's not a GC Quad in your test ?

@mitchellthurner5980 says:

Those spin numbers are too low I think. I have doubts that you'd be fitted for an LS tec

@StoodersFam says:

you were worse dispersion with the new driver

@theadamwalls2545 says:

The G is the best.

@carlespalau3312 says:

Not sure if it is great to hit your driver around 1200-1600 rpm…
good distance but fairways??
