What's the problem?
I just ordered the g430 max 3 wood …. figured since I figured out how to hit the driver straight… maybe the three wood will be similar off the turf … I have a 2 ( Taylor made "rescue") hybrid that I can hit pretty good most of the time…but it's only good for about 200-210 on my best shots and my little one length cobras (3-4 hybrids) are deadly from 170-190) I just want to see if I can get 215+ off the turf … this would put a lot of long par 4 and shorter par 5s right within my range … I'm coming up just short with a drive that is usually around 235-240….. I'm hoping this isn't just a huge waste of money but it looks like the 3 wood has made some definite improvements in design….and these woods look almost like a hybrid anyhow….lol….

I put sellotape on the face of all my clubs. Saves this problem!
I really wanted this club so I finally bought one and it' snot working for me. I'm surprised to be honest. Even when I hit it flush, I'm losing about 10 yards vs the 4 Hybrid which this one was going to replace. I have an older 7 wood that I hit about 165 (I'm 70) but even when I loft the Ping down I struggle to hit it 155. Just strange. It must be something with my swing.
I wash all my clubs the day after I play and I play twice a week..I have a question. What is the realistic reason for head covers? I took all mine off and it makes it easyer to get clubs out, and it speeds up play.

I bought a ping G430 max 9 wood. First time at the range face was very marked up. Kind of disappointing. I have a g400 7 wood that I would not replace with a max for that reason. My driver and 3 wood are also g 430 max so I am a ping fan
How forgiving are these clubs? Will my misfits fly longer and straighter than they do on my 20 year-old Taylor made Fairway Woods?
Great alternative is Cleveland and bonus nobody wants to steal them while your in the clubhouse! 7 wood is great
Got one on the way just wipe it off and move on if if does the job , no worries .

Just ordered this to fit my gap betwen my 4 iron and ping g430 3 wood. Im excited to use it. Will be nice just to hit when i need something to get in play.
