The new PING i240 irons offer a terrific blend of tour-preferred aesthetics and playability while also adding substantial forgiveness and spin. The result is a fantastic iron that wins in fitting bays for pros and amateurs. Meanwhile, the PING i210 irons filled this spot in the PING iron lineup previously from 2018 to 2022. The PING i210s continue to fill the bags of winners on major tours even in 2025. So how do the PING i240 and PING i210 irons stack up head-to-head?

Still have the i210s because they feel fantastic but I am considering i240 as I actually prefer the look of the short irons.

@hellhound59 says:

Need a 75-80 mph 7i swinger in there. Or have the new guy throttle back on the swing speed. Thx for the vid

I had the i210 NS 105 absolutely loved it but decided to change to i240 NS 115 they will launch with eased and good carry

@lawbinson says:

Would’ve been great to have Dyn Loft on screen 🙁

@lawbinson says:

Always nice to see the i210

@cameronloveless1751 says:

So 240 not quicker off the face. And 210 not such a high spinner after all! 😂 Were the shafts different? Not sure you mentioned it, or I missed it ?

@TymeWaste1 says:

I’d like to see two compared to the eye 2 plus. That would be telling to me as a player who still uses them. Thanks

I recently hit the new 240 and the 230's from last year. If you need higher launch and more spin the 240 is very good. I preferred the I230's for flight characteristics and feel. Good stuff!

As someone who plays i210s this was a great video for me if only to see how irons have developed over the last few years.

I prefer the cleaner looks of the i210 over the i240, the back of the i240 just has too much going on for me. But other than in the bag, who is really going to notice the back of an iron.

From the test I am not seeing anything to make me change clubs. The i210 spins plenty for me, I get stop a full 6i shot pretty quickly.

@michaelfreeman1634 says:

Very happy with my i240s. They just won the Australian Open in the hands of Rasmus Neergard-Peterson

As an older player with a low clubhead speed, I'm really happy with the launch i get from the i240s

@douglasgardner4004 says:

Really no reason to buy new D2C irons if you've got a 2nd Swing nearby. I'm really enjoying the T150 iron set, DF3 putter, PXG driver I bought from there. I found it super helpful to be able to try a few variations of iron heads and shafts to see what I like and don't like.
