This channel gives me old TXG vibes before they sold out to Club Champion. Excellent work.

SLDR vs a modern LS driver next? 👀

@johnanderson6614 says:

Weirdly I get crazy low spin from my max 440. I swing at 105+ mph

@jeffreymarkanich6076 says:

I enjoy your content more than any tester on YouTube. Just awesome stuff and I love the lower swing speed fellow who swings more like a normal Joe. IMO, this is the content that most people are interested in. Honestly I don’t think that most people are concerned with which driver is best for someone with a 160-170 ball speed. Keep up the great work.

@user-gs9yc7wx7z says:

If that g400 has been well used all these years, the face thins and gives you higher ball speeds. Drivers get hotter and hotter until they break.

@Rob-oo5lt says:

Frustrated I got rid of my G430 & G425 and replaced it with a previously owned G400 Max (I had 400Max in 2018). Over the past 3 Years I've been searching for 'My Driver' unsatisfied with Callaway, Titleist, Cobra Cleveland and Yonex Drivers. This morning I went to the Range with the G400 Max soon finding out I could still hit a good Driver Ball both with 'feel' in dispersion and Length something I was unable to do with all the Previously mentioned Drivers. The competition to G400 Max isn't anywhere as good, its still the best Driver Ping Ever Made. I wont trade-in this 400 Max.

@TenPester says:

I have the core G400, and went for a fitting at a Ping centre. I self fitted my G400 using online data, and TopTracer range. I was 96% efficiency in Copilot with my driver, and the G440 Max could only get to 92%. I was equally disappointed as I was relieved.

@QEEFA says:

Perhaps Tom is sensitive to the 0.5 swing weight difference and that small swing weight difference makes him react "better" with the G400, providing him with slightly better delivery and ball speed/efficiency.

@randallpennington5976 says:

Great review! Shaft length seems to have gotten too long causing it to be harder to hit the center of the club face!

@ProjectWheelhaus says:

In the fence between picking up a used G430 10k at $440 of a G400 Max for $180. This video helped seal the deal – not sure 6 years of newer tech is worth $260. I had the G400 Max when I was COVID stimulus rich and sold it for TM Sim 2 and regretted it immediately.

@shenanigans2025 says:

Is the 440 a step up from the standard 430 ?

@MeandMyStaffy says:

Just laughable that people continue to waste tons of money for literally nothing…

My g400 max is a killer driver, and always will be. Its about as good as i will EVER need. 5 years on and its still superb.
The rest is just online BS…

@imraanmoosa5759 says:

Ping G400 max is the best and most forgiving ping driver ever.

@MrBigTexFyre says:

What gets overlooked is that the USGA limits the distance a center hit driver can hit a ball by limiting COR. Where the newer clubs supposedly get better is that off center hits go farther. So if you are a golfer who hits the sweet spot most of the time then newer clubs aren’t as beneficial to you as someone who hits the ball all over the club face.

@Ryankam91 says:

I'm a new golfer, still learning swing mechanics and atm only achieving 75mph club head speed, i have a slice problem. Between ping G430 10k, ping G425, taylormade IQ10, or callaway AI smoke, which would you say would be best for me while learning and correcting my swing and habits?

@dr.feelgood9067 says:

Drop the 440 spin 200 and it’s even more of a gap.

@nigeltaylor8310 says:

Are you using the same shaft if not the test is pointless

@geraldsturgis6686 says:

Still gaming G400 max 10.5 with original shaft but swing speed down to 79 and need to replace regular Alta shaft due to wear. What would you recommend? Love your channel.

@peterlaszuk says:

Where did you get a mint G400 max head from? Ive been searching forever. Im in Australia.

@vincecuda says:

Thanks for the great video. I wonder if you could make a video showing how someone with a launch monitor could determine what lie they should adjust their irons to based on what reads the launch monitor gives you? Your videos are very detailed, so I would think you could do something like this explaining it so us non fitters, DIY guys, could do this at home. Thank you

@01dirtmonkey says:

Ping even admitted the G400 max was possibly their best ever driver. 10K MOI before it was even a thing

@sexiestmenalivepodcast3556 says:

And this is why I can't get the G400 Max out of my bag. Tom and I have similar swing speeds, only difference is that I deliver in more from the inside so i get draws, less spin and more roll out. G400 Max also feels incredible.

@CHR15Y-BoY says:

Patrick Reed only just taken the G400 out the bag, great club👌🏻

@gavinleeburn1 says:

Crazy so drivers are losing distance and becoming less efficient
