I'm on my 5th or 6th time watching this, and it's highlighted something which has confused me since I started playing, aged 11, in 1966. The TV coverage was all I had to learn from then, and I clearly saw that good pros swung slowly when playing from sand. In later years it then seems that the given logic was to swing harder and faster to couteract the sand resistance. Seeing this has taken me back to those early days, and I will be trying to apply this lesson as Liam's method looks so smooth, and must feel great. The only thing is that slow tempo and keeping enough speed to get through the sand seems counterintuitive. Can anyone help with this, please ? Love all yours and Liam's vidoes.
