Does anybody know what the actual MOI is for the G430 Max?? I couldn't find it on the Ping Website?

@Rob-oo5lt says:

Ping G400 Max is 9.962. Not al ot less that 10k, Save yourself a lot of money get a G400 Max its the Best Ever Driver Ping Made.

@jeffreymcdaniels2320 says:

In your analysis of the numbers, you pretty much said they performed the same, but you totally ignored that the 10K was 7 yards longer. I think that is a glaring omission on your part, and that actually answers your question of why you would pay more for the 10K. The extra cost buys you the extra distance.

@FrankMoser-s8q says:

Well the counterweight in the back couldn't be adjustable for the 10k because it would defeat the purpose….as it is intended to cause bias one way or the other… while the 10k is focused on ZERO "twist"( or bias) in EITHER direction ….at first I was worried because I was hitting everything right with the exact same shaft setting as I had on my 425 max and was already made because I let the guy at Dick's sporting goods sell me the regular max version and told me it WAS the 10k because that's what the "max" meant ( I knew you n my head he was wrong but didn't want to argue or be an asshole) …I should have realized when it didn't even have either the "across" ( or whatever it's called in the new clubs) OR even a bar code to scan …he actually used another club to scan for the one he actually sold me lol…… HOWEVER….just before I was ready to really get pissed off…I decided to just get a bucket of balls and play with the settings and see what happens…. well of course I found the PERFECT settings (pretty much exactly opposite of what I used for my 425 max 3 years ago lol) …and now it's hard to actually MAKE it go right and when it does it definitely isn't much…… The VERY INSTANT I found the right spot on the shaft and set the counterweight to draw ( with half a bucket of balls left) I NEVER hit another one right…. I'm actually glad I DIDN'T get the 10k as I need ALL the adjustments I can get at this point in my game…but the ping g series drivers and shafts are THE BEST I have ever seen when it comes to lowering scores….. LOL…..

FINALLY! review of my driver (430 Max) by someone my age and my handicap. Since I only got my driver yesterday your review has set my expectations nicely. Thank you.

@dewetrobertson1752 says:

All marketing

@LJdude95 says:

Refreshing to see someone review new club without forgetting the old.
Too easy to jump on the its new so must be better bandwagon.
Especially from a low budget high handicap perspective i found this review very helpful.
I think given the cost saving, and im jot skilled enough to really tell the difference ill be looking for a 425 max
Thanks for your realistic review and advice 👍

@tommygeorge8964 says:

Try a variety of shafts if considering this driver. The Alta CB and Hzrdus Red are both stock shafts but produced startlingly different results for me. Obviously, this is true for all golf clubs but it was so pronounced with this driver head for me.

@Rob-oo5lt says:

The G430 with a 35g shaft is too light to get any Distance – maybe its the shaft that's Rubbish/

@noahtruth6554 says:

I’m a 14 handicap and upgraded from G425 SFT to the G430 MAX. I replaced the stock weight in the G430 Max with a 32gram in the draw setting. which improved my ability to control my slice. In the end I found that there was very little improvement in distance between the G425 SFT and the G430 MAX (same shaft), in fact the G425 SFT went back into my bag . The G430 MAX is a decent driver but let’s be real , it’s mostly hype and I’m sure the G430 10K Max is much the same. Is it really worth the extra $$$ to gain 5 yards (that’s up to you). Looks like I’ll be playing the G425 SFT for at least 2 more years.

@johnhoie-hj7cg says:

I was just put into the 430 Max by a Ping fitter, who didn’t even have me try the 10K. He said I would spin it too much. And it wasn’t like he was trying to upcharge me. The 430 Max was $200 less than the 10K.
As for adjustability, he flipped the setting over to flat to eliminate any draw bias (I fight a hook).
Great club.

@RCE says:

I’m so confused. I thought the regular g430 max was the one everyone’s been talking about.

@derbscott2687 says:

This is the first HONEST Opinion that I have seen on this new Ping club…every other opinion I’ve seen is that this is the best thing before the discovery of sliced bread…I tested this new 10k against my 430 max and I saw very little improvement…I don’t see a $100.00 game improvement…I’m sticking with my 430 max…again thanks for your HONEST Opinion…keep producing great videos…

@kepler240 says:

I've got a G425 MAX and it's so forgiving, it's funny. Great club. Went from a G10.

@toadamine says:

Visually its one of the best looking ones out there… this should be called the "Stealth" it looks like a stealh bomber, mostly flat black and super angular while still looking aerodynamic…… Taylormade "stealth" looks like the opposite of stealthy… its bright red with glossy black and a balloon looking shape… i love Taylormade but hate their recent styling decisions… flat sandblasted irons that have minimal shine and polish and then super gaudy and shiny drivers that will look like absolute shit after even light use…. the only taylormades in the current catalog that arent hideous are their wedges… Pings are sexy… Callaways are sexy (though their sandblasted apex line looks like shit too), Mizunos are FN supermodels… even Cleveland irons look good now…

@Floridaman0022 says:

I gamed the G425 max with the Alta 55, 105-110 swing speed I was carrying it 250 with it being a bit spinny and I rarely centered it. Purchased the G430 LST and gamed it for several rounds, it’s a very forgiving LS driver, it’s fade bias so I didn’t really get along with it, when it was struck well I was seeing low 2000 backspin with single digit side spin numbers and I was carrying it 270 withe around a 11-13 degree launch with the chrome 2.0 tour. I had a few rounds when I didn’t miss a fairway then a few where I was missing right(I’m not a consistent striker but could game the lst 430) Switched to the 10k max 9.0 with my chrome 2.0 tour. Couldn’t hit it then cranked it to 10.5 and it’s almost impossible to miss a fairway. If you don’t have a swing speed of 105 you’re not going to be able to get the benefits of the 10k. If you’re a decent ball striker that hits around the center try the lst you’re going to get more yards, but the 10k max is close behind. When I put a slight draw on the 10k I was seeing low 2000 numbers and with the face size you’re able to tee it low and still have a good launch. Being you are able to pull a 425/430 max off the shelf and hit it well it seems to be confusing people why the 10k max was created, but there isn’t another driver comparable to what it’s built for. Getting fit for the ping line is super beneficial.

@jpphiphi2856 says:

thanks for you I am French . very good I go to buy 430 max👍👍

@kodyadams5561 says:

GUY I WATCHED AT LEAST 30 OF YOU VIDEOS THERE IS NOW CHANCE IN HELL YOU ARE A 9 HANDICAP AT VERY BEST MAYBE A 13-14

@Sp-mv5ki says:

I have previously gamed the G430 Max Driver which was fantastic and more recently had the luck to have both the Pxg black ops and Ping G430 10k at the same time……. I didn't find the 10k any longer then the previous Ping G430 Max if anything I thought the Max was longer similar to your review. i found the 10k to be really heavy and almost to bulky to the point I ended up picking the black ops which is incredibly forgiving and was going just as far but above all sits fantatsic behind the ball…….. Ping make amazing drivers no question but I didn't find this to be anything beyond what they did the previous year

@TheYorkshiregolfbandit says:

Just bought a sft 430,inch shorter shaft, extra still for £250 of another member at the club I’m at
Absolutely brilliant! Deal of the year as it’s 4 months old

@davidparsons3163 says:

I learned that the 10K was noticeable better for me than other G430 models

@stevenbrown7473 says:

Just bought G425 it’s much cheaper and you won’t notice a difference except in your wallet.

@vega21 says:

I own the 10K. It's worth every penny. Alot of pennies but worth it.
