2017 U.S. Open: Golf's Newest Star

Fresh faces and a new venue marked a record-setting week at the 117th U.S. Open, as Erin Hills became the first course in Wisconsin to host the championship and Brooks Koepka etched his name into history with a dominant performance. Koepka’s game was firing on all cylinders, particularly during his final-round 67 that clinched the victory. Displaying superb ball-striking, savvy course management and a calm demeanor, Koepka personified the qualities of a U.S. Open champion. Narrated by Ed Harris.

  1. Followed him since the very beginning. Best moment of my life. In round 4 when he was tied and had a 13ft putt for par on the 13th I was so tense I turned off just couldn't watch. Checked 20 mins later to see he had holed it and taken the lead. Great to relive it as I was in a homeless shelter at the time and that won me 5k. This man will keep winning if he avoids injury. I fully expect double figure major wins. He could've challenged Jack's total but he started professionally perhaps a little too late. When he's finished he will certainly go down as one of the best of all time, I'm certain of it.
