  1. Just the idea that we can hit that far off center at all and still be far down the fairway is amazing. Imagine hitting like that when wooden clubs with steel faces were king. Any off hit and it was all over

  2. I have watched this video multiple times over the last 2 days. Today I went out and finally was hitting it straight. You fixed a problem I have had since I was 13. I'm 35 now. Thank you so much for making this video!! That was the most fun ive had playing golf that I can remember .

  3. Rick you legend. I've been really struggle with a slice since an arm op, but watched this last night and headed to range after work today… Incredible results. Not one went right out of 50 balls. Cheers mate.

  4. Thanks! …. Rick I got a 92 at River Club, brvh you are awesome ?? ? my game is changing…your instructions are with such explanation and simplicity. Rick my 3w 240+, my 6i 180yrd, used to be 150 to 165, my 60° I'm getting 75 to 80yrds. Strikecwith confidence. I still lost 3 balls, only ? 3…no 8's and 1 dbl today, …. thanks a million for these video's. You are the man, I share with everyone I know that wants to play golf, I show them your face……

  5. Recently picked the game back up after a few years off and relocating to Canada in 2019. Had lessons back in the north of England when I was growing up and played a lot throughout my 20s. Best I got up to was a bogey player and shot an 85 as my best ever score.

Just a note from Vancouver to say thank you, Rick. I’m a new subscriber and have been watching a lot of your stuff over the past few weeks, in between range visits and a few rounds!

This video made me realise I had a weak grip and was slicing my drives (rather than what I thought was just a natural fade). A simple tweak using these tips and I’m hitting straighter and longer – at least 30-40 yards on my drives.

Appreciate this video is two years old, but the advice is timeless. Keep up the great content and thanks for helping me fall in love with this great game again!

  6. I honestly quite like my 270yd slice it gives me personality ? but also it gives me a challenge when there’s a dog leg right. Now I gotta figure some shit cuz I move to the left ?

  7. I've had an awful slice for YEARS to the point I'd hardly hit my driver at all ,and when I did, I'd use the "aim WAAAY to the left Kentucky windage shot and hope for the best!…I'd use a 2 or 3 iron before my driver. I watched this video twice and just got back from the range. After less than 25 balls, I was driving straight as an arrow getting at least 200 yards! Exactly as Rick said, I started to hit to the left, then with a few more balls, I got the alignment right and BOOM!! There it was !! It also helped with my irons. Thanks a million!!!

  8. Rick…I've been playing golf for 40+ years and i've always had a fade/slice that I've tried to correct with quicker wrist and/or stance, not much luck to say the least! I watched your video the other night and had to try a few things you suggested, placing the towel just outside of the club takeaway path and rolling the arms instead of the wrists. It worked liked a champ after a few tries with the driver, once I was used to it, I increased clubhead speed and throwing some power into it…..WOW! I actually think I was drawing the ball as the wind was right to left (im left handed) and I was hitting it straight as an arrow for the most part…this put a huge smile on my face!!!
Thank you for the great tips!!

  9. Rick! You are a magician of an instructor. I watched this video 3-4 times over and couldn’t wait to try out my driver. 8 out 10 of shots went straight as an arrow to the target I aimed at. Thanks man!!!!!!!!

  10. Great video. Im a rookie at 41 yrs old. But if I add any more swing thoughts into my head I'm gonna go nuts. Keep left arm straight, keep head down, follow through, point left shoulder at the ball, keep right elbow tucked in, rotate your hands. Geez I need to focus on just a couple of things. But my slice is pretty bad so il try some of this as well lol
