There are longer drivers out there than Ping. We all know thise by now. There are a couple of drivers out there that may give you better dispersion than Ping. I have yet to find a driver that gives both the distance and tight dispersion you get from Ping in a single package. I played my G400 until i caved in the face. Upgraded to a stealth 2 plusz because i got decent numbers from it and in the bay it was consistent and I got it for a steal. However, i should have sucked it up and gotten the 425, even though i did not like the feel and sound as much as the 400. Fast forward to now, the stealth 2 plus and the QI10 LS (both of which i was fitted for) have come and gone out of my bag and the 430LST is firmly in place and likely will be until i cave its face in.
I love my G430 LST. I am a Titleist guy and everything in the bag is Titleist except my driver. Reason is that I tend to snap hook my titleist driver under pressure. I’m fine in casual rounds and the driving range but in local tournaments I was shooting high scores cause of snap hooks. Was at a local golf store and they had a used LST on the rack. 1st hit I knew it was special (for my swing). I bought and played casual rounds with it. Straight as an arrow. (I draw the ball with my titleist tsr4). Played it for the 1st time in a local tournament and won. No matter how much pressure I felt the ping never let me down. I hit a few slight draws but if I had a the tsr4 it would’ve been a snap hook. Distance is about 10yards less but I’m happy to trade that for 80% fairways hit (other 20% just messed the fairway but had a clear approach shot). I can see why it would peel right fo some but for my swing it’s perfect.

If you’re watching James Robinson you should buy a Ping Max or 10K, 10K is for people that really suck. LST is for high speed grooved swings and driving range don’t count. If you’re an exception you know it, if you’re not sure you’re not.

Try lining it up more off the heel. I have noticed Wesley Bryan does that. Maybe it will help bring the strike more back to center.

A few years ago I was gaming the Epic Flash and put it in a head to head against the G425 when it came out. While my distances were about the same, the G425 dispersion was so much tighter. Fast forward to about a month ago. I won a free driver fitting at a local shop. We saw my G425 numbers and found that I had too much spin. I ended hitting the G430 LST, Paradigm triple diamond, & Titleist TSR3 – all fitted with a Ventus blue shaft. Long story short, my best numbers and dispersion were with the G430 LST and I've got a new driver in the bag.
I’ve got the 430LST with Kai li white 60 S and I feel it’s as forgiving a driver as any max head I’ve used but with a little extra distance. Absolutely love this driver!!!
What was the brutal truth then?? That it’s not as long as the Paradym? Stop teasing us with these exciting titles!

TSR2 WAY MORE FORGIVING AND JUST AS LONG AND LOW SPIN…i had tsr2 then shaft broke, bought 430lst, it was ehhh with several shafts, loved the look. then cobra aero ls palm tree, best looking driver ever…but ultimately it was too fade bias for me. tsr2 back in the bag….cap dropped from 4-2 with only changing to tsr2….
What's the point of smashing it 300yards in you're in the trees etc, surely consistency of hitting fairways is better for us average golfers??
To the average golfer (high handicapper or just occasional social player), does the newest driver with all the bells and whistles lead to better distance or at least a substantial difference to older model clubs? I have a 10 year old Adams driver and a 4 year old Cobra driver and took them to a golf store the other day to see if there's a difference in performance to some of the newer models (not the aerojets and stealths, more mid price drivers) and for me (with a swing speed of around 95mph, there was basically a difference of a few metres in the simulator for me.

I brought the paradym and realized after a couple of weeks that my Rogue ST max actually sounds and performs much better. The epic LS and rogue max are amazing drivers
