I am trying to decide what to – currently Dr, 3w, 2i, 4-PW.
Love the low flight of 2 iron but only use it off the tee and it obviously not forgiving. Love the idea of 7w but I already hit the ball high. Does it go same distance as 4i also? Or is it closer to 2i replacement? Thx
My Missus has used a 7# from day one, admitted she has had and still does have lessons but she is annoyingly good with it, started at 36 HC and is currently 25.2

I’ve been playing a 7 wood for a really long time. 20 years. My first one was a Cleveland and I fell in love instantly. Haven’t been without one since. I just have driver, 4 wood, 7 wood now

If you don't have clubhead speed, long irons are absolutely USELESS.
Naw man. 7 wood still longer than a 3 hybrid and useless in the rough. Distance is actually lower than the 3 hybrid as well. So only useful from the tees. This is a sentiment from all my friends as well regarding the 7w so nobody uses them here even if pros do.
What would be the major difference between hybrids and woods of the same loft? I feel like there wouldn’t be much of a difference and it’s more preference.
I use putter stroke & Mia khalifa (choke down on it) on my 7wood for short chips onto green from heavy rough but afraid wedge I'll over shot it and putter can't push thru rough.
Picked up a Callaway 7 wood a few months ago. Gets the ball up without a lot of rigamarole. Ping G-25, Taylor Made 5-wood, Callaway 7-wood, 6-7-8–9 irons, PW, Cleveland RTX Gap & SW, Odyssey Rossie II (old faithful) putter. I'm a senior walker and 11 clubs is about all I need.
My only albatross was a 7wood out of a fairway bunker in high school tournament. It’s been 30 years. But I have just ordered another. 😂
Been wanting one. Ordered up a Big Bertha 7w tonight. Can’t wait for it to come in. Gaming a Driver, but may take that out of the bag if I can’t get that sorted with a different shaft I have coming. I love my Stealth 2 plus 5w, and hopefully the 7w will be an awesome addition.
