Ping, what were you thinking? How could you have missed such a market?

Just got an Anser 2 SS pat pend, will join my BeCu Anser 6' loft , awa BeCu Eye 2 irons 2-Sw. Will never sell these GOAT golf tools.

@ricardocampos3383 says:

you referred to this as a cast steel putter but i always thought that these were made from beryllium copper

@robertlanesmith429 says:

Question: my ping anser 2 says PAT PEND on the back. Does this make it more rare, collectible, or expensive?

@michaeldandrea1725 says:

I have the copper version that I bought in 1985. Still in my putter rotation today with a cross line putter grip and occasional metal polish. Still a beautiful putter but luxury and putter should never be in the same sentence. Scotty's,Bettinardi,etc. are a huge waste of money.Made for pretentious people who can't putt for sh*t!

@browntown52 says:

Pretty sure, esp. If the paint infill is gold, can't tell for sure, but I think you got the beryllium nickel anser2 not the ss. Late to the party, but I think you're diagnosing the wrong thing. That was the Scotty Cameron luxury line. BeNi is better than sc & can't be made anymore due to OSHA. I have the beryllium Cooper (becu) but the BeNi pings are the most valuable. 5yrs late

@skillet4068 says:

It’s great in stainless…..it’s PHENOMENAL in beryllium copper!

@Chevycorvette1990 says:

What year do you think that anser 2 is 80s ? Like you said I have on I love it

@ryanu3708 says:

I still game a 1992 Ping Anser 2. I had Ping refurbish it and the balance and feel is better then ever. Not for sale.

@NoleFan7 says:

I have your holy grail (Anser though not Anser 2). Pat 55 Stainless… it's officially a wall hanger though.

@tomnelson8515 says:

In the end they are all just hunks of metal at the end of a stick.

@wonderbreadmodelsandhistor1566 says:

The Anser 2 was a luxury putter when t came out. We sold them as fast as we could get them at $105 USD in the early to late 90s.

Pings may look rough compared to the lux putters of today…but back then they were competing with Bullseye, the 8802 and the original odyssey black insert putters.

Ping putters to this day have no equal in design and quality. What’s amazing is the consistency. As an experiment we weighed 5 anser 2 heads one night in the pro shop…all were exactly the same. Exactly…with no added weights or any adjustable nonsense.

@feiwong70 says:

I have 3 SCs including new port 2 and 2 old new Ping Anser 2 (1 SS and 1 Copper). I love Ping Anser 2 because of the way it looks at the setup. Its height is lower in the ground behind the ball makes me feel more confident with my putting. Super nice videos! Right Ping marketing department needed to step up. What a legacy putter maker! I’d never sell my Ping Anser 2.

@es2056 says:

I have the stainless Anser 2 featured here and also a Ping beryllium copper N-Echo. I am the original owner of both. I love both of them and use them alternately. I think the Anser 2 is just slightly better.

@alexismarquez3674 says:

PUTTING DEFINES HOW GOOD YOU ARE IN PUTTING THE BALL INTO THE HOLE 🕳️⛳

@alexismarquez3674 says:

I APPRECIATE THIS VIDEO CAUSE I'M A GOLFER ♥️

@alexismarquez3674 says:

PING IS A GOOD BRAND. IT'S CLASSIC AND IT REMAINS FOREVER ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

@alexismarquez3674 says:

MY PUTTER IS "PING" ⛳⛳⛳⛳ I LOVE THE PING PUTTER. IT TAKES A LOT OF PRACTICE TO BE A GOOD GOLFER. IT'S GREAT I STARTED PLAYING GOLF WHEN I WAS STILL A KID. ONLY A FEW PLAYS GOLF ⛳

@Breaksandripscards says:

Any info on a Ping Anser2 with a “Pat Pend” stamp instead of a patent # on the back? Is a “Pat Pend” stamped Anser2 more valuable?
