I went out on the course with my coach Liam Robinson, and in just a few holes he completely changed the way I think about playing golf.

In this video, you’ll see:
How Liam helped me make smarter decisions on the course
Key strategy tips you can apply to your own game
Mindset shifts that actually improve scoring

This isn’t just a lesson — it’s a way to start thinking like a pro every time you play. If you want to score lower and play smarter, this is for you!

Now you’re moved in with Lou the lone man’s wrist should settle down.. however if it doesn’t my mate suffers with arthritis in his hand and he has acupuncture which works wonders, he went from struggling to play 9 holes to this year playing 36 hole scratch events.. hope all gets better.. 💥💥👍👍

Has to be 1 of the most helpful and constructive golf videos on YT. That stress free par on the 2nd hole you played was money – Liam's thought process removing danger was great. How many of us have handed a birdie back next hole???? Liam is awesome. James when you swing 'easy' for position, you absolutely send it!

@Minnesota_mike says:

Petrol buggies?!

Along the lines of "stress free" – on every hole, there will be one stressful shot (off the tee, approach from out of position, a chip or pitch shot, or a lag putt). It is this shot which requires the most consideration, concentration and commitment to execute the shot.

Side note pro golf suggestion –
Lose the golf watch and start using tournament legal yardage books and pin sheets (if available), along with a distance only rangefinder (which won't be reliable in rain or fog).
While your watch may be permissible in competition (in tournament mode), it can be prone to incorrect distances via GPS errors. And, God forbid, you forget to set it to "tournament mode" in competition, and get penalized strokes.

@truthlifefishing1730 says:

What is the shot?
Why is it the shot?
How do play the shot?
Where do I aim the shot?
WHAT, WHY, HOW, WHERE.
there you go, remember that sequence.

Liam don't you know that time is different in Flower world😂. I don't know how feasible it would be. But it would be interesting to see what you would shoot in a tournament with Liam on the bag

One of your best videos. Great videography/editing too. I hope you 'hear' Liam's voice before you hit every shot as there is so much wisdom there. Swing looks better than ever and loving those stinger drives now. And that bunker shot was pretty damn good! (Made a triple on #18 Friday to card 82… so close to 79)!

@petel3366 says:

Course management is the wrapper for making scores.
Pulling driver to assume you’re always gonna hit the Hollywood ball versus looking at what you’re guaranteed at scoring is how you pick your way round the course- seeing red lights, amber lights and green lights us what it’s about once you can swing with some consistency.
Birdies only save one shot doubles cost you your card.
Keep the though process going James! Getting Liam’s input is invaluable.

@JamesH-xy7wz says:

Mate I've watched so many of your videos, but this one is absolute cream.

Liam is just on another level.

Class craic about the curry too 😂

Good luck in Q school mate, your game has came on levels!
