would love to see you hit your driver a bit more back than left heal. see what happens
Can you do a slow motion video on the take away please?
Easy ππππ
I love how you guys come out with a video on how to hit a driver, and the experts come out of the woods π
I do this set up and I keep hanging back and then flipping at the ball late and low hooking it. Trying to work away from this but this has been my issue when I load and tilt back, try to stay behind the ball. I stay behind too much lol. I need a feel or thought to help get me through with driver.
You definitely donβt need to tilt as much as he is tilting. Doing this will actually cause you to fall backwards and hit way behind the ball. Slighlty less tilt and ball inside the front foot and just swing out to right field and make sure to turn the hands over and you will hit a nice high draw. πππΌβ³οΈ
Can you not just start with the weight on your front and leave it there?
If you want to hit adriver more reliably move the ball BACK to just in front of centre of your stance. Donβt tilt your shoulders back much. The ball will go low and straight and if you want to hit it higher move your driver face up 3Β°. Your driver will now be your best friend.
So the low pow of your swing is well behind the ball. The natural curve of the downswing (out, square, in) is now moved back. Which means that the club will be moving from square to closed as it gets to the ball unless you move that downswing trajectory forwards.
The then result is either a ball that starts online and goes left or starts slightly left and disappears off into the unknown. Hold the club off very slightly and ball heading right.
Most pros are now almost hitting down on the ball based on their launch angle.
Great video
You guys have great confidence that that guy in the background will not "shank" one at you. Love your content.
Loved that video
WTH?!? When did you guys start dressing differently??? I don't know if I like this….
