Patrick Morin says:

Love this video and setting the right mindset for playing your game. Keep up the great content. Really love it!!

Ehen A says:

If I hit 3 good shots when I’m out I’m happy

The GolfHackr says:

Nice one Matt. Biggest one for me is that expectation element – is that why you dropped it in first? I think almost everyone goes to the course with an expectation of what they hope to score.. you're doing yourself a disservice before you've even swung the club! Trying to enjoy it all, good or bad, is up there with some of the best advice out there for amateurs

eric chambers says:

Matt, love the videos and actually laughed out loud about the reason to not set a score goal being what if you hit a couple of holes in one or drain a couple of iron approach shots. I'm pretty sure I could accept and deal with the actual result not meeting my expectation if that was what went wrong! Keep up the good work.

_ warren says:

other matt is a legend.

Stuart James says:

Great video Matt. The mind game is so important to help the physical game….. 👍🏻😃⛳️

Scott Mckeon says:

Other Matt should find a new playing partner. You talked through his entire routine and shot. Poor form.

Louis Christian clauss says:

avoid the mistake : we need "golf tracer" to see the ball !! don't speak about a fade that we cannot see !!!!

Anthony Collins says:

I do all of these!

1st eighteen says:

My only mind set and goal every round is only loose 1 sleeve of balls….normally fail, so might need to set a lower bar.

Phyllis Seidl says:

"It might not look pretty"…Yup, pretty much sums up my game.

Ian Shepherd says:

Started bogey bogey yesterday and shot 75 from 7,000 yards with 4 birdies…just have to stay patient and stick to your game. Good advice mr fryer

Brad Scott says:

Awesome video! Great tips! Incredible creative photography and editing!!!

Randy Honeycutt says:

Great tips! I need to work on each one of them. Very timely video.

James Lane says:

Love this breakdown and you've managed to keep the content interesting and maybe unintentionally funny … Other Matt made me laugh and appreciate your efforts producing these but I especially loved how he stuck around and listened to you 😂 😂 Keep it coming. These videos give people motivation to play golf and just enjoy the sport for that anxious energy it brings. Embrace the nerves because it's good to feel and care for your own game. Just play golf on the course. Learn to play golf when you practice. Simple. Thanks for the lesson.

Jason Veale says:

Great advice about dealing with bad starts. A few months ago I was playing in a Par comp, and after the first nine I was already -6, but I then played the back nine only -1, finishing with -7. The score was pretty bad at the end of the day, but after that start it could have been sooo much worse!!

James Bramwell says:

Everything you’ve mentioned is absolutely spot on, but also easier said than done when you’re not a low handicap or a pro!

Ivo Bonzano says:

You’re absolutely right ! It’s a game and we should enjoy it (and not blame too much ourselves for our mistakes). But the green course is like a green dragon swallowing our golf balls !

Larry Pickard says:

Great advice. Thanks love your videos.

Ralph Bonati says:

Has anyone ever mentioned that your twin brother has a better golf swing than you?

Ken Kohl says:

These ‘situational’ and game management lessons are great. Thanks for rolling several tips into something practical. Well done.

Vincent Preca says:

That's what I do even now all the don'ts that's probably why Hcap is so high ,good points

joseph bianco says:

But, Matt, if there were no mistakes, then it wouldn’t be golf!

Malcolm A. says:

Good stuff Matt; biggest mistake I used to make was taking driver on every par 4 or 5. One of your previous vlogs stopped me doing that.

Gordon Mcshannock says:

More great tips matt. Keep them up.

Jamie Grove says:

Guys..out of the famous four…Matt DEFINITELY brings it down to a high handicap point of view…so pass on to ALL those people not watching but struggling with their game and to shoot 100/90/85/82/80…pass it on

2010LeeG says:

Guilty, Guilty, Guilty, Guilty, Guilty. Why rounds on my own are always lower scores. I am new to it all though.

Martin Osmond says:

Thanks Matt, wise words mate

Mark Stockley says:

Great tips as always Matt!
