Glendower Golf Club. Par 72. Brutal.
This course has hosted DP World Tour events and doesn’t give you anything for free. I went out with one goal — break par.
Every shot is filmed. No gimmicks. Just trying to survive one of Johannesburg’s toughest tests and see if breaking par is possible.

Grew up at Glendower in the 1970’s. Club champion 1980😄. One of the best courses I have ever played IMHO. Thanks for the memories. Cheers.
At hole #3 that was it for me. The constant F bombs, and the blasphemy. nope
A long time is gone since I watched your game on yt…i always liked watching you! Watching this round, i see you
struggling on every hole, for all on every tee shot. Why? Why you always want so much with the driver? Then later also with the long iron? Make a controlled 270 shotgun with a wood and a 3/4 iron shot for the remaining 150-180 yards. That's not the course for a long drive contest? You have so much power, so much body control and dynamic, you should be able to break par on such a narrow course with thick rough. Your short game wasn't the problem, also not your recovering – your driver, your 100% full swings are… Slow down to 80/90% and you will break par!! And work on a positive mindset… Good luck!
work on slowing the transition to the downswing with the driver. once the arms start getting ahead of the body you run out of room to square the face.
Just remember James. Like Dustin Johnson said. "The most importen thing when your hitting a fade is to make sure you fade it"😂

Keen to come play a round in Cape Town mate?
Do you think before new year❤
When does the Highland gate vic come out
This is like watching me play golf. Well, the swearing bit. The similarities end there.
This tour to S.A. was a total disaster, you are struggling mate, no cuts made on what I think is a 6th tire tour down from the DP World Tour! You need to get a serious coach and start working on your short game mate! Happy Holiday James!
Is James still using the darkspeed Ls
Stop dropping your club when you hit a bad shot 🤦🏻♂️
Our 9 hole course (Meggen in Switzerland) is rated 143 off the whites – Didn't realise it was "officially" so hard – this explains a lot – phew. haha
Go play some tournaments ffs and film it. Better content. That was the whole point of your trip to SA.
Well played James… Breaking par at Glendower is tough… Ask Rory😅
Merry Christmas mate hope you have a great one. Tee shot on the 10th what did you expect after eating half a farm on the turn
Great content 🙂
answer is no
looks so pure that track
Doubt it…. doubt it very much!
Is it in……that’s not the first time he’s asked that question 😂😂
faking hell that was a grind and a half m8, stressfull
just gotta find a few fairways and itll completely change the dynamic of your rounds
also, you need some hours on the towel, bro. keep at it.
0:46 can you duplicate this tee ball every time and aim 30 yds left?😊 way to grind !
Next level stuff for me! HCP 15 , but i enjoy to watch, even i dont understand the nuances!
I think you need to rebuild your swing again, it is getting crazy.
James… all love brother. But you gotta bail on the whole Liam move. You're stalled as all get out at impact with the driver which is why you're hitting a massive 2-way miss.
Liam is a good player, but he did that driver testing video the other day and he was swinging at a consistent I/O path of 9 degrees. All he can really hit is a massive draw.
That swing is not your swing.
You should give the Cobra DS-ADAPT Max-K driver a go. Might straighten you out a bit on the tee. Other than that, pretty good round. Well done.
i'd have been right up behind a lot of the trees in the rough..
