  1. As Trevino said, "You can talk to a fade but a hook won't listen.". As a better player, it is hooks, and sometimes even draws, that get you into trouble. I expect that you had to fight the Srixon from going left and that you will find the P790 will go straight with tight dispersion as you as you get over that defensive Srixon swing. I have been debating replacing my set of Callaway Apex CF16s because they sometimes like to go left, actually long and left into bad places. The number one contender has been the P790s, I think this comparison has convinced me. Thanks, your tests are always very helpful.

  2. Dood, you hit 3 255 yard high draws that landed in a 5 foot circle virtually on the target line. Yes you hit 1, maybe two straight shots with the Taylormade, but I wouldn't switch given what I saw. My guess is that you want to find a shaft right in between those two shafts – i.e. the slightly softer tip stiffness of the Blue shaft seems to straighten out that fading Taylor shaft, but maybe, and I mean maybe, a slightly higher kick point than the blue shaft – but given what I saw, there is no way I would give up that Srixon the way you hit it – tour pros couldn't do any better. Nicklaus would be proud of that 2-iron
