Don't make the same mistakes I did when ordering your first Lab Golf Putter! #labgolf #golfclubs #zerotorque

Hindsight is great!…

I ordered my first CUSTOM Lab Golf DF3 Putter, remote fitted!
I have been so happy with the Lab Golf fitting process and the quality of the product, but I made a few mistakes ordering my first Lab Golf Putter.

I'm doing this video, so you don't make the same mistakes as I did, and hopefully these points will give you a few things to consider!

@SA-ks9vz says:

Lab putters suck for long distance putts, that's where the Spider excels over Lab. Carry Lab for short putts and Spider for long putts.

@martinmascarenhas5471 says:

Also remember these Lab putters have different lofts. I was launching at 5 deg and 1-2 is optimal. I used the Link which is their lowest lofted putter and difference has been amazing. Launching and rolling instead of launching with backspin and inconsistency that comes with it. My distance control is a load better and getting away with off centre strikes a bit means that you can hit putts with more freedom rather than over-controlling and missing feel…

@DAMITBANDIT says:

So as someone who reviews clubs, you didn't do your research before making a relatively large purchase. I think if this was a brand new and clueless golfer that did this you would say 'that was a dumb thing to do'. It was…..

@mick19421 says:

Surely you can get LAB to laser your club to same marking as your mate or have a reset.

@kevinshinn5347 says:

Do a give away for the putter

@MichaelCorfield-i9n says:

Just had a fitting for that putter and extremely happy with the end result. Totally agree with this gentleman’s comments but if you’re going to buy an expensive putter get fitted. £125.00 hour and a half but got exactly what I needed no regrets. Well done Scottsdale Warrington. 😃

@RC0223 says:

To be honest, just from watching the video I would definitely like your original alignment choice. I had a Lab3 like the blue one and did not feel like it gave me much sense of direction with just the "T" shape. I guess everyone is different.

@eversick7892 says:

We all want what we don’t have, if you owned your buddy’s exact lab putter you would want something different

@glenkamida71 says:

Gary if I'm using an armlock putter properly, why would I need to get a zero torque putter?

@chrisgotski9837 says:

You know you can send it back to Lab and upgrade the shaft and grip.

@freddiefox5676 says:

You spent $700 without getting fitted? How would you order a Lab without trying different heads, shaft degree, alignments, grip, shaft material, there are so many options. Pretty whiny

@davismccardle1 says:

The only thing worse than using a green putter is using a green golf ball. Not enough contrast with the course.

@dixinyomum says:

Just get a tube of green paint and paint over the lines you don't want. Jeez people will whinge about anything.

@AaronS-q2p says:

I really like LAB Pootars ❤

@bogeygolfer says:

Great honest video! And what a place to do that, I love sueno pines and dunes.😊

@leecoady4671 says:

Just about to pull the trigger on the same setup as dans putter after the remote fitting. Only thing im unsure of is the head weight. Did you prefer the standard or heavier head ?

@nickpritchard7130 says:

Lead tape on putter to increase distance and accuracy. Matching colour paint used to reduce alignment lines..Black shrink wrap can be used on the shaft to change its colour..Now get on with it.Think outside the square..Good vid, thanks..😁

@paso193 says:

So the message here seems to be…..there is nothing wrong with your putter….you just made some poor decisions when you went into the custom shop. Seems to me the Oz.1i is the best looking and performing one out right now – if you get your custom fitting done right,
