Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website ( I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

See also  Golf Life shows you the Greatest Backyard EVER!!

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Great video!!! I love how you break down the golf swing and have helped me understand how simple it actually is. You are an amazing teacher!!! Thanks!!!

Kevin G says:

Thank you! With practice and focus on smooth tempo (you make the swing look so smooth) this will help. It already helped my irons. I hit 3 pop flies with my driver though. I tried teeing it up higher to focus on hitting up. Maybe I was still hitting down? Once I teed it up lower I started driving line drives again ( my drives are rarely high). Probably too much information…cheers

Stagger says:

I’ve always been told that the downswing should start with hip rotation and not the arms.
How does that fit in to this concept?

david hovde says:

wow, you hit 3 things I took years to discover in my swing… the last one of just letting it go is huge and how it is counter-intuitive. Great vids!!!

Danny, Nice one again. Always enjoy your video’s, especially as full explanation and excellent instruction is guaranteed..

Robert Wise says:

Danny, getting some success with the irons (baby pull) but with the driver, pulls or slices, what am I doing wrong?

Doug Hirsch says:

Thank you so much Danny. This is exactly what I needed. For some odd reason the last couple rounds I’ve started to get into a funk. Driving the ball the best I ever have been but when it comes to my irons lately I am all over the place with them. I’m going to give this drill a shot to get back on track. Thank you as always!

Kevin G says:

I really appreciate the message to keep it simple. Practiced with a long broom handle and went to hit balls today. Trying to feel the weight of the clubhead seems to be helping me the most. Is that true for the driver also?

Leonard Dzubow says:

Excellent drill for body rotation. However, on the video look how the pole and lawn mower drill affect the left arm on the downswing and encourages the left elbow to bend backwards . If you follow the motion exactly with both drills, doesn't it lead to a chicken wing of the left arm by preventing rotation?

BBatesF16 says:

Excellent video. Great instruction

tony weller says:

Hi Danny, brilliant drill with the broomstick, it helps me with the takeaway and downswing. I feel that when I just let the club fall from the top straight down, the body looks after itself. Now to just ingrain this feeling in every swing after years of hitting from the top. Thanks a million Danny.

Burtea Alexandru says:

lovely video!

Paul Boyd says:

Great lesson Danny, thank you. Can you please produce a lesson on your pre-shot routine and answer whether or not you follow exactly the same pre-shot routine for every shot from the tee box to approach shots to around and on the green?

Whoops, 2 comments

If there was only one instructional golf video in the world, this one should be it. Simple and concise, no rubbish. Thanks Danny.

Charlie Clark says:

Once again a great look at basics. Thank you

If there was only one instructional golf video available in the world, this is it! It cuts out all of the rubbish, and gives you what you need to know in a clear and concise package.

Cor Lof says:

schiken wing?

Phil Young says:

Thanks Danny – another great video. Does this routine change for drivers/ fairway woods or hybrids? Does it create the lag you worked on in a previous video?

Keith Newton says:

Also forgot to ask , where are you based

Keith Newton says:

First time seeing a video of you're Danny, very very interesting, will be watching more and subscribing

MrDavidRoigRecio says:

What a great video! Clear and direct to the matter. ? thanks!

Flat Effect says:

I tried this and it feels exactly like my swing already yet I'm somehow releasing too early and only hit my 7 iron 140. I can't seem to compress the ball and get good distance.

richard schmidt says:

Does this work the same for driver?

mike callaghan says:

Great video Danny. Why we make so complicated always baffles me. Can’t wait to get to the range to try it. Would I be right in saying It goes against starting the downswing with a hip movement?
