  1. I can understand why Phil doesn't want to come back in the morning as he loses his momentum and confidence that he has at the moment. Monday morning at 8 a.m. on the 17th hole with the windchill the temperature will be close to 30 degrees Fahrenheit and hands cold and tight anything can happen on that hole or the 18th. Pebble can be a miserable place to play in the winter time.

  2. Phil is one of the greats from a time I used to watch as Palmer, Crenshaw, Nicklaus, and Mickelson all battled through eighteen holes for the win. Phil has always maintained a professional attitude and countenance, I love when he wins.

  3. Casey was off form today and phil was playing well, Casey knew phil had a better chance of winning with the way he was playing. Postponing it was a good tactic

  4. If Casey ends up winning, he'll be remembered as the guy whose scared of the dark. Come on man, there's plenty of light to finish play. Momentum or not, winning cause of something like a light delay is just sad

  5. Casey knew that Phil had the momentum and if he stops now tomorrow morning everything changes. First Hole they play is toughest Par 3 on the course anything can happen in the last two holes. Casey could still win if Phil messes up.
