Hogan’s Elbows
This is me working on Hogan's elbow exercise. I would also like to share my new film/instructional video The Hogan Code, which is unlike any other golf video on the market. It tells my story and reveals the secrets that I discovered while I was 6 on my year quest to swing like the great Ben Hogan.
Master the golf swing today with The Hogan Code! http://myswingevolution.com
And, for the first time I am offering a new instructional series from My Swing Evolution! All of my lessons and insights are condensed into one video that is 1 hour and 21 minutes long!

You look younger in this video as you should. Are you wiser today? Just kidding as I know you are. Hogan says the elbows should be pointing towards the hips. When the elbows are in this position they work the shoulders and scapular in a better fashion allowing a full 90 degree shoulder turn at the top of the swing and a maximum coiling of the entire body. Don't believe me? Try a set up with elbows pointing away from the hips as many people do. Turning shoulders to 90 degrees will be difficult for sure. Now set elbows pointing towards hips. Ninety degree shoulder turn much easier especially if you pull back your right scapular in sequence to your backswing. Let me know what you think
I can see your downswing, but what about back swing. It good to see you hit the ball, but it would be good to see how you got to the top also.
I'm just curious–are you hitting at the range of Rancho Park in Palos Verdes, CA?
what song is that?
Christo, I've been working on pinning my elbows as well. Striking the ball solid with all clubs accept the driver. I'm not sure if it's a setup issue or what any thoughts ? Thanks
think i saw a couple pulls on some of those shots
Beautiful swing!
I can't putt to save my life. I just had an important putting lesson with a PGA pro that showed me that I was aiming way to the right of my target!
Looks good! Elsewhere you say you have a 6 handicap. I would think this swing would get you lower than that…..
Nice swing!
hi,do you use your big knuckle on the back of the shaft like hogan described in his book?i just noticed on another comment you made, that the right hand is a personal preference.keep up the good work, its very inspiring.oh will your book be available in the uk..all the best,Rob.
This drill is just amazing!
Isn't that simple? Anyone can do that.
Thnx 🙂
Indeed, this drill is purely to start to learn about pressure and connection. Kankra15 you obviously do not understand anything about centripetal forces, the left arm in no way just swings.
00:48….that lady is like…how do you do that?
I have had a similar exp as Paul, I just couldn't find consistancy that didnt sacrifice major distance until I flattened my swing and as a result shortened it up. At first I had issues with this swing until I made a conscious effort to "leave the club behind" on the downswing. That changed everything. I still need work on impact balance since I feel as though my weight is 80-90% forward at impact. Thanks
JP, the Japanese looking fella ? Haha I know, then he disappears , properly gone to get his camera.
LOL…the asian kid behind you cracks me up as he must be thinking…"How come I can't hit it like that!!!"
The guy behind you was like "fuuuuuuaaaauuck!"
I know what D.I.R.T stands for…..
1:05 would be good with a better camera
great stuff. whats the track on this video?
Nice swing guy. Keep at it.
