Dennis Engen says:

Excellent video. I really loved how you demonstrated the right should move. I went out and performed it in front of a mirror first and then on the range. I had a lot more swing speed and the ball goes straight. Thanks.

Oscar Monagas says:

Thanks Kerrod. I have improved a lot in terms of consistency and adding few yards across my clubs. I wonder if this applies to the short irons where I struggle to make good contact. Thanks again.

Tyler Hannah says:

I literally cannot wait to try and add this to my swing. I took videos of myself at the range today trying different solutions (none worked) and in every video, my shoulder goes straight to the ball. I pray my driver will be straight now

Kenneth Braun says:

Great advice and practice tips.

TallCoolDrink says:

This is a great lesson.

Oscar Gonzalez says:

Thanks Kerrod Gray getting better thanks to you. Feel so good when I do the right rotation and I hit nice. Life bless you my friend.

Jj Campbell says:

Enjoying the video at the top you said we want the right shoulder back in behind at the top and at the top to the hands be in that position back in behind the right shoulder right shoulder behind and drops down to the right shoulder also move toward the target thanks kindly advise Jack

Tyler Page says:

I like to make sure my right shoulder is already further back than my left shoulder when setting up. This helps me get more consistent rotation. Especially on driver, definitely more distance

JD Stubbs says:

Great video. Thanks! Exactly what I needed to hear. πŸ˜€πŸŒοΈ

Olli Tuomi says:

Loving your videos but please stop talking about left handers. They understand if you talk about trail hand and lead hand etc.

Tom Blue Raven says:

Thank you for the video. Just what I need to work on. Too often hitting behind the ball even with a good shoulder turn. Ive also found it has helped me on short chips around green from rough or otherwise.

Greg Jones says:

Great advice I was really struggling to get the start of the downswing sequence right. This exercise is perfect thank you

Simmo says:

Seeing it, easy, now the acid test DOING IT. Just knowing is a great start, cheers mate.

Gee Mac72 says:

I like your instruction. It makes good sense.

Dan ParΓ© says:

This is THE move that is working for me when my swing feels dialed.

Mystery Man says:

Great tip for those that have no issues with flexibility. Your emphasis on getting "enough rotation in the back swing" @ 6:18 is all well & good for those that can. What do you suggest for those of us who don't have the flexibility of a 30 something year old anymore?

kingshearer2 says:

Still not sure why I get in this wrong position which in turn causes the over the top action. Is it to avoid the 'strangle' effect in the backswing so swing trying to keep the arms more out in front of me?

Ben Jonson says:

Wow, 2 minutes to get to it.

Rick says:

This is exactly what I do but if I try your movement I end up dumping the club into the ground miles behind the ball or deliver the club face wide open for a mega slice.

Kevin Webster says:

Unbelieveable, I've been looking for a feel of the hands/shoulder for the start of the downswing, just watched the video, went out and hit a bucket of my best shots of the year, Had a nice turn, and brought the hands down and turned. Nice contact & flew high & far. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Patrick Lawler says:

This is literally my problem.

Tom Smith says:

One thing I've learned in all these videos is, skinny pants look really bad, and worse on golfers…

Transcender says:

It seems that simply, the path of the right shoulder in the downswing retraces the path it took in the backswing.

JG1 says:

This is one of the best videos describing the slot and over the top moves. Thx

KAP says:

Great explanation and super helpful thanks!
