  1. I liked this video for its simplicity and the 3 club approach which I have been adopting, amazingly the same 3 clubs! It’s good to have confirmation of my selection! Gary Player advocates using the least loft possible when chipping. Might have helped with his 9 majors………. Paul

  2. Excellent video Adam.  I'm a full-on Shawn Clement devotee, but when I'm not watching him, I'm watching you. The two of you incorporate so many of the same concepts of doing what you already naturally know how to do and just letting your body respond. Love it! Golf instruction over the past 30 years has become way too mechanical and positionally focused, and both you and he are exactly what golf instruction needs.

  3. I hope you teach other teachers how to teach ? every other video channel the guys just talk to much and I lose interest you always just keep it simple and to the point and that helps me so much!!

  4. Hi Adam. I have been "playing at" golf for probably 50 years, but only recently have I started to actually work on my game and try to improve my handicap, which is pretty high, around 24 or 25. Your videos have helped me immensely. Your instructions are clear and easy to understand, and the quality of your videos are excellent. Thank you for helping me start to improve my game. I have some really good (for me) games, like on Wednesday, when I parred 5 holes, and bogied 4 (only played 9 after work), but I still have some not so good games, like yesterday, when I shot a 106 for 18 holes. I will continue to watch your videos and hopefully the next time I comment I can report a much lower handicap!

  5. Adam, I was watching a chipping video with Phil Michelson. He said for a lower lofted chip place it closer to your back foot for higher lofted chip closer to the front foot. Do you agree with this? Or do you prefer ball in the middle of your stance during chipping? Thanks.

  6. Adam, I like your approaches of finding a personal common ground or blend among two positions, both of value , but neither absolute or sufficient in itself. This strikes me from my professorial roots as a type of dialectical thinking. This type of thinking puzzles many westerners …. what do you mean there is not one right way and wrong way? We often get caught up in a linear mode of thinking in more or less clear dichotomys. To "cut to the chase" ..my point is that golf instruction may be explicit, but no amount of impressive words and sentences, no matter how accurate, ever equate to, or assure PLAYING good golf … Sound golf is an implicit phenomena which is based more on (non-conscious) procedural memory than (conscious)declarative memory systems. This is one reason visualization is an effective training tool, because images are processed in the right hemisphere and when the goal is physical, knowledge is conveyed more naturally in that manner rather than through the sole use of language (left hemispheric.)
