I took a lesson awhile back and the pro gave me this tip to get out of a trap. While looking down at the ball keep in your mind that you will want to hit the front of the ball at around the 11 o'clock position for a right hander and the 1 o'clock for a lefty. It seems to me this is what is being told to us through this video. It really works.
