You nailed it. ✌️

Khaleel Azan says:

What a great 👍 👌 lesson

Old Golf Punk says:

I tip ive used for many years to train is tape two golf balls to a spare club head.

Then control the speed from top to bottom to whip using that added weight at club head 👍👍

D.A. Sell says:

I hit my 7 iron 200 on accident haha now I see how I did it. Great video

Allan Scott says:

90% golfers can't do this.

Isykul says:

Great lesson, thank you. Another mental picture I heard used for the rolling down of the lead hand to close the club face was to imagine you had a wide paint brush in you hands instead of the golf club and as you are coming down into the impact zone, you are trying to paint a nice broad stroke on the ground through through impact zone. To do that and apply appropriate pressure, you need to adjust hands/wrists in the way Ali recommends.

suu duong says:

👍👍👍

Gonk says:

What all you pros dont get is that we amateurs have to guide or steer the club head to the ball. Our setup is just not solid enough to release the clubhead that late. We COULD release it later but that comes often with bad impact and an open face. I know a few Mid Handicappers with a lag like a tour pro but they hit it all over the place.

John Howard says:

Hi Ali, would you use the same principal with the driver. Great video. Thanks.

Ghost Netnanny says:

Verry sweet…

Enrique Hernandez says:

I swing Project Cypher 5.0 graphite shaft PXG ,would the sound different with steel shaft I don’t hear a sound with my graphite irons but I make good shots ?

Chester Micek says:

Get to the point, mate. Don't blather on like Russell Heritage.

kellybkk says:

Could have been done in five minutes. Show the position(s), "feel the speed after the strike." Done. Geez.

Evan Green says:

Excellent. So many on line coaches spend way too much time showing how NOT to swing, release, etc. Well done.

Robert Hudson says:

Great description. Very clear and simple. Thanks mate!

scott butterly says:

Great video cheers

Cool stuff says:

Great video! I’m interested to know if you think the hands should be dominant in the downswing, racing the club head past impact, as opposed to the downswing being driven by the hips and body?

MrJamesy Boi says:

How can a huge SLICE be a good strike ? ! Waffle on.

James Smith says:

Everytime I whip it through I lose control of the ball no matter what I try ☹️

bigdaddy78660 says:

My problem seems to be that I am consistantly inconsistant

いそいそ says:

ローテーションもコックも意識して使わない最強スイングです💯💯💯

Chiefs Hotline says:

Watching this I was like……. what, huh, hmmmm. How in the hell is he getting that. WELL, it's way easier then you'd think and man it's way more controlled! Thanks for sharing!

Aidan Griffiths says:

I always try feel my hands/wrists accelerate through the ball coming into impact, its almost like you feel like you're 'flipping' but you're not, that's only if you release too early. I can hit my 9 iron 150/160 with my feet together just doing this. Start every range session with this, got it from Padraig Harrington on his channel. Great video man 💪💪

Mark McGrath says:

Great video – I still have to comment on some of these modern strong lofted irons – how strong is too strong? What is the loft of the PW in that set? And then, what does it do – requires you possibly to have to add another more traditionally lofted wedge into your bag? – Or is that the whole idea? You could actually have a 6 or 7 iron as your first iron in the bag and then have a wider array of specialty wedges?

John D says:

The wrist angle is so important yet a minority of instuctors every talk about the wrist angles with their clients !!!!!! You rock !!!

Bob Smoot says:

Good explanation of how to get the club face in the proper place as you come thru, unfortunately I’m whipping it but the face is open, thanks for the tip

Bennie Sprouse says:

I think I have done this before with mixed results because maybe I didn't clear my left side and just smothered the ball to the left. Will have to try the "whip" methos!

Mark L says:

Anyone thinking they should be whipping a club through a ball does not know how to swing a golf club
