now does it use their credits if you are using gspro or e6? i would assume no since its not there preloaded courses on their software. but i am curious
Awesome launch monitor. But if you have an issue, the customer service is crap. Non existent. Forget about it. I cracked the screen on mine and it says on their web site to repair promply to avoid further damage( to the cameras, I am guessing) but I have been waiting over 2 weeks and have gotten nothing more than an automated response. I have emailed them several times. I am going to just go buy me a rapsodo mlm2pro.
Using the Square next to the Foresight would definetly throw the numbers a bit. Idk why you have not addressed that in your test.
Their customer service sucks, have been waiting over 2 months for my unit to be repaired. They have no phone number to contact them and they have NOT responded to over 10 emails. BEWARE!!!!
Are people really complaining about paying $.36 per round of sim golf?
I'm very tempted to get one of these. I no longer have an outdoor sim bay at home, but during that time owned both a r10 and MLM2Pro before upgrading to a skytrak. Now I have none and am looking for something to get numbers for chipping/short game and putting indoors with occasional trips to bring it to a range (i saw the outdoor comment about the cameras but definitely frequent indoor/covered bay/out of the sun ranges for the occasional time I do this).
While obviously asking for GC4 type of precision out of a sub-1000 dollar L.M. is silly, even though it seems to not necessarily be the most accurate of this price range I really like the plethora of ways it works compared to the MLM2 and R10 – both of those struggle with short game a bit and the Square seems well suited for that use, and the square does putting – combined with the nearly as good elsewhere I really think there's a case for this depending on what you want.
I really like that it also has some club data – which is VERY hard to get out of lower-priced Launch Monitors (and the club data I have seen out of the garmin is ballpark at best) – I think that sticker + optics the square uses could be pretty decent.

Everything i hear you say about this square golf launch monitor makes me want it. I've only ever really enjoyed the driving range; i'm a guy that likes to tinker with his swing to see what i can do to improve or change something. I'm perfectly happy going solo with a device like this. That no-subscription bit is the real selling point. Don't really care about the putting.
At this price the choice seems to be the Square or the MLM2Pro
Could a lefty just hit with the unit in between them and the ball? Kind of like teeing your back up the with tee marker in between you and the ball? This unit odd so small, seems like it wouldn’t hinder a lefty swing—thoughts?
With the credits, what happens if you do not have enough for the full 18 holes? Will it warn you before starting the round or does it stop part way through and ask you to cough up more money?
I love that you can put it in front of your stance rather than 6+ft behind you. Any other LM's in this price range allow for that? Only other thing I hope they fix is the need for their special balls, I want to use at the range.

How do the graphics of the sim golf courses in Square compare to the latest upgraded graphics in the Rapsodo MLM2Pro sim courses?
No love for the original Flightscope Mevo? I just got one for less than $350 and its great.I use it at the range as,well as at home.
Would be interesting in seeing you test the Square with RPT balls and the same nonRPT ball but with stickers on the ball in the Square pattern.

IMO, it's not very good and provides little data. Had the Square Golf LM for about a week and sent it back. Both the Garmin and Rapsodo are much better for the money. Fighting with the company for my refund. Buyer beware!
If you don’t have the room to put LM 10feet behind the square works hands down!

I like the pay as you go. I rarely use my indoor sim when the weather is nice. So I will spend less with this option that a few hundred a year. Even with the occasional friends coming over. Plus my friends made a "thank you" jar where they toss in a little cash here and there to help with upkeep, upgrades, and other stuff like this.
Can you buy this in the US?
Squar golf is a UK web site that does not allow you to pick USA county. Product they list simspace is identified as a Fake web site with AV software. Another site golf swing systems in UK. Say product will I cure additional charges or duties . Too many red flags and no USA vendor. Very skeptical

I have a Raposoto. It won't register short chip or flop shots. It also does not have a putting feature. The best way to improve your score is the short game. And Raposoto suck!!!
Can you play a round on the course with left and right handed golfers? Do you just need to move it back and forth? Or is it just not an option?
