Thanks Rick. You could hold a torch and use the beam to highlight where the
‘shaft’ is pointing. You would need to start with the torch in different
positions depending on what you were checking. For example, start towards
the ground for the first checkpoint where the beam would point at a point
on the wall and start towards your belt for the half-way back position. I
recorded this exercise in the semi-dark where the results were a tad
surreal but helpful.
This is great Rick. I’ve shared with Peter how my swing since this past
May has gotten so “handsy” and gets me out of tempo that then gets me out
of nice plane. It just all goes to shite…something to behold actually
;-). But this drill will help with so many things…initial rotation, slow
takeaway, good load, etc.

Great drill Rick! Working on the swing actively at home is just as
important as range time, in my opinion.
