Great video. The only time that “keeping my head down” helps me is on a
touchy chip or short bunker shot. Not sure why…just does lol

Martin Moore says:

I think when people say keep your head down they mean maintain your spine
angle. If you come out of your spine angle it looks like you’ve lifted your
head.

No Right Hand says:

Where’s that Callaway Driver vid?

tuomas seppälä says:

Good tip in full swing shots but I have noticed in chip shots that when i’m
too eager towards the hole and lift my sight too soon I’ll miss it and not
make good contact. It’s so fragile to get it just right

Rick my man where is my Vlog where is it?

playeroflife says:

Hi. Great video. I am just playing 1 yr. 28H playing with much better
golfers and all I hear is “keephead down” I applied your tip on the range
hit 200 balls and significant improvement. Thks again.

Daniel Wei says:

I actually think “keeping your head down” only applies from the backswing
and during impact. After impact, you can let your head free. I’ve honestly
corrected topping because of keeping my spine angle and head down.

Vici Martynov says:

Hmmmmm going to be a busy session on the range this Sunday 🙂

Andrew Rivera says:

Great vid Rick! I’m so sick of hearing this myth passed down.

paul hutchinson says:

Spot on keep head still then enjoy the strike and watch the ball/ birdie
fly…

Hudson Harris says:

Thanks awesome video!!!!!!!!

Robert Kinnie says:

i think keep your head down started life as keep your eye on the ball

Rick I bought one of those devices you showed in your video; the head piece
with the weight on the chains, but I find it prevents me making a full
backswing. Any suggestions ?
