In the second instalment of The Review Show PGA Professional Rick Shiels reviews some of the hottest products in golf.

In this episode Rick Shiels reviews the brand new Odyssey Golf Stroke Lab 10 putter, the Honma Golf Future XX golf ball and the TaylorMade Golf P790 TI irons.

The Odyssey Golf Stroke Lab 10 putter looks very familiar and has pretty much the exact same shape as the TaylorMade Golf Spider putter. The TaylorMade spider has won on The PGA Tour & The European Tour and has been in the bags of Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Dustin Johnson.

Rick also puts the Honma Future XX ball to the test. Will it perform like the Titleist Pro V1, Titleist Pro V1x or the TaylorMade TP5?

Lastly, Rick tests the brand new TaylorMade P790 Ti irons. They are some of TaylorMades most expensive golf clubs ever! Will they stop you shanking the golf ball? Stop you slicing the golf ball? Stop you hitting behind the golf ball? Possibly not, but in this video Rick Shiels gives you his honest opinion on the irons!

  16. Saying the odyssey is a copy of the taylormade is like saying any company that makes classic bladed putters copy each other. I think it’s just a style and each brand puts a little twist.

  17. I know it would never happen, but I wish club makers printed loft on an entire set of irons like they do with wedges and woods. I feel like the average player gets swindled by these companies, thinking the new tech will give them more distance when in fact its more just loft changes. Remember the blade test you did vs. a mega cavity? I hope the industry and the game changes at some point to where people think of irons as filling certain distances in more instead of just buying them based on forgiveness and distance.

    Just left the food bank with food parcels, for I and the 3 little'ns , feeling good, actually feeling blessed, for the 1st time in a long time
    Until handle bar snapped from the weight, buckled me Mavric , throwing me and me precious cargo , arse o'er tits onto the weeks snapper.
    The good old days (few years back) ?

  21. Really frustrating how golf club pricing continues to rise so drastically without much change to design and capability…. 30% or more pretty much across the board just inside the last 7-8 years. Too much… Especially in the wedge category…
    P.S. How bout installing a quality grip and doing a good job of it… hilarious how often they quickly and recklessly (without even a proper amount of grip tape at times) slap on a crappy little rubber grip on a premium priced club.

  26. Just watching your YouTube videos and your swing has helped me improve my game I was constantly shoot +55 over par on a par 36 and the other day I shoot a +33 over par
