Liam Robinson gives me a golf lesson from across the pond. It's been a while but as the tournament season is about to get going, we need a little look at the golf swing…

Same with most just too much shoulder even past impact.

@sgtmusiiczz says:

Did Liam dirty with that thumbnail mate 😂

@caringfamilies says:

Great videos and learning James and Liam is awesome. I need to get back to see him I think.
Keep up the great work. 👍👍😊

@arthurford829 says:

OMG! These comments! Everyone is an armchair expert! I’m sure they mean well but mate, just listen to Liam and continue to put in the work. You get out of it what you put into it.

@benpalmer9206 says:

This coach ain’t no good

@iancox8619 says:

Towel push backs were my go to every time 👍⛳️

@peterscott1498 says:

Following some of these comments I might leave a few on some stack & tilt videos. Telling them why it doesn’t work because I said so

@illmatic-P says:

I love the content with you and your coach mate. How do you avoid having an unpredictable face when getting far more handsy? Because my takeaway and backswing is similar to yours in that video where you keep the club in line with your arms for a long time.

@Nikhil-b9t says:

It’s not looking good John

@Mylo831 says:

Love the content. I’ve found myself getting a bit bored of the YouTube golf scene. So much is just the same stuff rehashed and repeated. Your content is excellent watching your development and what you’re working on.

@billsmart5198 says:

there is literally nobody else on YT who's iron strike sounds like yours, keep up the good work mate

@garrywhite468 says:

You need to practice mate do as he said and it won’t come over night but practice practice practice 👍

@brianmurray4199 says:

You really should implement that step rehearsal into your pre shot routine. You started to but then you stopped for a while

@djmcn3923 says:

Pretty obvious that the long drive stuff you were doing was detrimental to your swing (e.g. the dominant arms on takeaway, the over rotation, the high lead arm at the top, etc) and regressive to the way Liam would like you to swing.

@magneto6698 says:

No wonder you are struggling with your game. So much over analysis. Keep this body part here, and this body part there. Your are a super talented golfer. Get to the range, groove your swing, stop filming it and focus on playing some golf. Get your short game top notch. Get your putting consistent. If Liam or any other coach analysed Scottie Scheffler or Wesley Bryan or other know PGA tour pro with a less than perfect swing, he would freak out. If you are always changing stuff, like your knob has to point at this angle at this point in the downswing, then there is no hope.

STRIKE at 7.46 😋

@mcmurwolfgrape says:

Love how even on his demo of the drag drill he absolute flushes it

@joeglabus7255 says:

I beat myself up for not being better at golf its only when i watch thease you realise how much work u put in to be consistent and good👍👍

@deasonuk says:

Are you thinking about what the Swing Cat said?

@jw11000 says:

Suppose you need to be wary of cupping the lead wrist when getting more travel in clubhead on backswing? i.e your drive at the end.

@scallywagturk says:

So so good. Please promise to really work these drills in bru. Honestly can't wait to see what you can achieve but you have to double down on these drills.

@zenitsusama-r8w says:

Bruh you have to learn how to learn. You have to practice each new move over and over, like in anime. 1000 times. 20 minutes straight. Wear your body out. Repeating the move, with no ball. Start doing slow-motion, then increase speed. Drill it into your body.

@leewalrond-o8b says:

Brother, what I'm about to say might hurt! You can choose to listen to it, or ignore it. I really don't think he is a good coach for you! Your best ever coach was in SA, teaching you that buttery cut a year or 2 ago (correct me if I'm wrong). You then shot -6 or -7 in a proper tourney! Also, online lessons aren't good (for pros), the teacher can't see the ball flight (just saying). Online lessons are superb for players ranging from a 5 handicap up to 28 but not for you my boii. Also, another topic: You know I used to have a 'sick' short game. That is because I always used a 58… no matter where from, just learnt how to use it. In my opinion, change your 60 to a 58 and learn how to use it! When we were ''juniors'' practising always together, we had many chipping comps! Invent that senario all around the greans with a 58, like how we used to. Your short game was like dinamite too bro! I hate seeing you indesisive. BACK in the day in a chipping comp, you always stuck them within a few feet (just sayin)…. NO MATTER WHERE FROM! Anyways, love you xxxx – Lee Booiiiiii xxx

@luboshendrich588 says:

Is that a bird sh**t strike on the window?

@primafacie6442 says:

Have used Liam’s towel drill to coach my body what a good powerful movement feels like. It works as both targets are absent (the ball and distance target), but it’s a matter of then transferring that ‘movement feel’ with a golf ball in the way and seeing the resultant ball flight.
Immediately I found a straighter and longer long game and better striking medium and short irons, and ended up shooting lowest score for a while.

@Dylan-y6n says:

How tall are you? Does Liam realise that you are always going to be steeper because you are tall? Scottie Scheffler does everything you do in this video that is apparently wrong and he is world number 1…….. You are never going to swing it like a shorter person.

@iiZAPPx says:

I do love how Liaam holds you accountable. Shows he has faith in you as a player. What a great coach

@Dylan-y6n says:

How much does how your swing looks on camera actually matter? Surely once you have a decent repeatable swing (which you clearly do) then what matters is where the ball goes and your scoring. Good golfers use feel and touch to know how to hit certain shots through hours and hours of hitting balls and experimenting.

Wouldn't it be better to actually be trying to get better at the game of golf and scoring, instead of trying to achieve this perfect looking swing ?

Also, the things Liam is saying, there are so many pros who do the exact thing he is saying not to. I've tried to get into his method and even paid for the TGN to get access to his videos, and it doesnt work for me and i dont agree with a lot of it. Maybe Its due to the fact I am 6'5, body proportions have a huge impact on your swing and coaches forget that…..

@iiZAPPx says:

Elite Golf School. YouTube. Pelvic Depth. Liaam is so good with Backswing stuff. So good.

Downswing/transition….Pelvic Depth = Space. Your mechanics are getting better. Even if regresses a bit, you'll get it back for sure. You had it down not too long ago. This is normal. Pelvic Depth. Pelvic Depth. Pelviccc Depthhh

Love the Work you have been putting in. The wedges have been getting so much better. Also, really think you should be pitching.The ball more in your casual rounds to reinforce it. You have been developing the skill so keep using it! Even if the shot doesn't call for a chip or a putt. Its practice for a reason.

LOVING the content. Best creator out right now

@jpa_fasty3997 says:

Hate to be that guy but is the over rotation in the backswing a result of spending time trying to whack the ball as far as you can with the long drive fella?
