How does your iron golf club sit on the ground at address? Many golfers set the soul of the golf club flat on the ground, but that is not correct. If you put the club flat on the ground, the club may close because the toe hits the ground and not the heel. Tom explains why it is better to set the iron golf club a bit on its heel.

Absolute bullshit
Am i mistaken in this thought? wouldnt his explanation not be accurate if you have stiff clubs opposed to flexible shafts (or whatever the way the two types are called)?
Golf “coaches “ make everything more difficult than it has to be. Always showing the club at chest height. Seems like snake oil salesmen
Difference this makes is unreal
Great tip, I actually have that problem and next time I play I’m gonna try your solution. I always get mad at myself cause I hit to the right that’s what I’m doing. Thank you.
You lost me at "coin of two Euro". I live in the USA, land of freedom. Not sure what kind of European monopoly money you all are using over there.
See I close my clubface to compensate for the toe touching first!!! lol jk kind of!!!
Going to try this, always put flat and do have issues with ball going right

So much conflicting advice as I try to improve my game…
thats literally only if you have a super flexy shaft smh
Shank city if I play it that close to heel
When you get fitted properly, they bend the clubface upright by a few degrees to allow for this in your natural stance.
WHAT IS 2 EURO IN USD
It's called club droop. Identify the spine and orient the shaft where the spine is at 6:00. It will strongly resist club droop and you can use the club as designed at that point.
Jokes on you, I use extra stiff shafts so my clubs don’t bend
I saw you before, what's your name please?
????????????
Just finish watching a video saying “ Never hover the club”,lay it flat on the ground”
I'm not buying it
The old 2 euro coin test …
I really don’t see how this makes a difference
Many people do become more flat at impact on their swing… but not everybody. This may be great for many golfers but don't just assume it is and he probably shouldn't be telling everybody they need to do this. You can use a lie board or special ball to check this but you know maybe do that before just assuming it's right for you.
Wow I’ve been thinking I needed the club flat the whole time. But always slice my irons. Advice I got from a buddy if the toe is up you’re standing to far back if the heel is up your standing too close ???? I’ll try this next weekend
Very True i just noticed it today myself .❤❤
