Excellent advice. I was just thinking about ball placement at the range today, and I did move the ball back an inch or two in my stance with a three wood and hit it much better. Funny how your video just confirms this as a reason for hitting the ball thin. I will try the tee drill next time I'm at the range. Thanks!
I used to have this problem but found another solution that worked for me. On the fairway wood shots, I would set up normally but instead of looking at the back of the ball, I now focus on the front of the ball and make my normal swing. Problem solved…worked for me anyway…..
U did not say any different than other pros . Key thing is come from inside out in downswing because hybrid or woods have longer shaft so people try to hit straight to target or out to inside which causes topping. Trust me this is the key for rescue club. Iron you do-not need to be inside out swing until it is 5 or longer iron.

Good video . First time watching your videos. Does the same apply to driving as recently have topped drives??
Unless the ball is on the tee, you just have to hit the ball on your down swing, not upswing.
Great video and great technique. I always try to see the ball being hit before rising after impact.

Excellent advice, usually use irons on the fairway because I top woods.
You had no beard at the start of the video and by the time you hit the ball you'd grown one.
