Gamed the ai smoke for last year and had the elyte in play last 2 month and for me the ai smoke looks and performs much better for me. Just didn't get the consistency with elyte and never felt confident standing on the tee. I used my tensei blue 65 shaft in both too so not a shaft issue. Sold the elyte last week and luckily i kept my smoke and after playing the last 4 rounds with the smoke I'm back to hitting straighter fairway finding shots with no loss of distance whatsoever 👌
You can't compare clubs on a fake course. There is only one way to compare them. Get out on a golf course and play a few games. I play the Rogue ST MAX OS. I've played the Ai Smokes on the course and don't see much difference. I suspect it will be the same with the Elytes. But get out of the fake course.
AI Smoke looks miles better than the Elyte, I can't agree with you at all there
Took me too long to realize that the song you're using during the testing is the song that Experior Golf uses
The AI smoke has the looks without question
Bottom line is then unless you are an elite (Elyte) golfer don’t need to change your driver for minimum 3 years until the technology has advanced enough to make a bigger difference to need or warrant changing @ £500 + every year.🤔
I haven't paid attention to golf products for the last 2 years. I'm assuming Taylormade has came out with 12 new drivers since.

Callaway blew it. They came back with the silly Epic look and copied Ping with the back weighting . Poor Sales is a coming . Taylormade Qi35 blows it out of the water. Cobra DS Adapt also a better move if anyone is looking for a nice change of improvement. Cheers

Al, please do a retro test with the B21 Big Bertha driver. That thing is looooong and forgiving. It beats all the new drivers
I just hate that they highlighted the weight thing on the back . Why does it pop, it doesn't make sense they could have made it black or hell maybe just not as bright silver. Smh
Just watched your ping G425 driver review.. considering that driver is a few years old now, its numbers of 298 carry 313 total from when you tested it just show the newer stuff hasnt really advanced much in terms of distance at all.
I your review of the smoke AI max last year with more or less the same CHS you was going further with a lot less spin, i think either of those drivers on different days will perform pretty much identical, if you are not "I must have the latest gear " freak you can save yourself a bucket load of cash and buy the smoke!!

That was fun, Al. I always enjoy head to head. The sound test always makes me laugh. Is there anyway to get sound without the smack of the screen? All I hear is screen-smack. To my eyes the AI Smoke is much better looking.
