I have the Burner Superfast. It took me a few months to figure out, but I
stuck with it and now I like it.
I won it in a raffel, so being free had me give it time,,lol.

James Howes says:

Mark, I’m thinking about getting the Superfast 2.0, could I get it cut down
a couple of inches? Or would that affect the balance of a club?

Dan Wei says:

Dude I wouldn’t shorten it. Since it’s so long and light, just shortening
it by an inch could wipe out any forgiveness in the club, and especially if
you are an amateur, you could end up slicing it a lot

LufthansaDude says:

Vid just loads until 2:11 :(((

Hammertimemoves says:

Protip for people with the Burner: choke down on the club about an inch or
an inch and a half. much much much easier to control

GolferPapa says:

Mark, these reviews/comparisons are really lackluster for me. This is
because you complain about launch and length and the grip of all things on
the TM, however if you were to do an unbiased review you would get the same
shafts in both (not OEM made for rubbish) and could have them whatever
length you want so that you are purely reviewing the heads.

Cory Randall says:

I have the 2.0 and it has definitely been something hard to figure out, I
am actually getting the ping I20 on friday, fell in love with my first swing

Kushagra says:

hello mark, could you compare Titleist 910 D2 vs Png G20 vs TaylorMade
Burner 2.0 thanks in advance!!!! Kush….

sizzlebiscut . says:

Yeah. the same happened to me

Peter Jenkins says:

i love the taylor made burner burner 2.0 ever since i got it i’ve been
driving nearly 300 yards!!

exjazzbass baz says:

top man mark.your vids are great for us out there.keep up the good
work.many thanks.

Mitch Drennan says:

Trackman

TekNiQueZ9 says:

Is that right? Yea beacuse you were there weren’t you. If you want proof
ask youtube user cian389, he was there. So f**** off Hugo mate

superscootkid says:

@itubeutude true

itubeutude says:

Why do they make it so long?

MrBigGuns77 says:

i think he uses titleist d2/3 or the nike vr pro l.e

Harold Winter says:

same here

Anthony Baroud says:

what driver do you use?

Sammy Gable says:

I have the g20. I have stiff shaft and 9.5 degree. My burner superfast was
regular shaft and 10.5 degree. G20 is more forgiving and hits same distance
as the burner

John Williams says:

Is it better than the G15? Thanks for the vids. Burner makes my ears ring
on the range!

Stanters1967 says:

Agree re the length of the Burner. It’s the only way left to claim extra
distance but in my opinion people would be better off with a 45″ or less
driver like the 910. Fairways over an added 10 yards offline wins every day
of the week.

Shane Coogan says:

another great vid mark.im going to buy one of these drivers next month.have
only hit the ping at a fitting day and it went very high.im yet to hit the
burner, though i like the idea of a lower flight.keep up the good work.

TheTrotter6 says:

got the ping g20 driver and the taylormade burner but taylormade 3 wood
ping brilliant love it taylormade is to long agred with you but hit it
about 220 off the tee love it but took a while to get used to 🙂

Hunter Kirn says:

I got to demo both clubs, im 6’1″, and personally i liked the ping a whole
lot better than the taylor made. It felt much smoother to me.

cmphillips97 says:

I like the grip on the burner. I just bought a 3-wood burner superfast 2.0.
It felt better than any other 3 wood I hit. It felt strong, nice at
address, and I thought the length was perfect. But I think ever since
Taylormade has released the new white drivers, everything has went downhill
and they’ve started slacking. I hit the driver like you and I didn’t like
it. They say since a longer shaft faster swing speed, but I felt like my
swing was slower and abnormal. Just my opinion though

TekNiQueZ9 says:

GET THE SUPERFAST 2.0 RE-GRIPPED. I played in the rain today and after
sometime the grip became very slippery so I had to grip the club very hard
when swinging. HOWEVER, I then hit a practice swing only to see the club
fly out of my arms and go 20metres up into the air and ito the nearby lake.
Thankfully I was able to get it back. I am now going to get it re-gripped.

Winterstick549 says:

I dont play in the rain, as I live in hot, Phoenix, Arizona, but during the
monsoon season, when you sweat all day, a new grip really makes a
difference. I won my Superfast in the HeathWealth raffle. I’d really like
to make it work for me.

cubsrock10997 says:

i not only got my burner 2.0 re-gripped i got the thing shortened by 2″
because i just could not control this beast and i was constantly missing
the sweet spot and i was averaging about 250ish with it but now that i have
it at 44.5″ long i hit the sweet spot every time and i average about
275-290 with it and i couldn’t be more happy with my driver

cubsrock10997 says:

also i forgot to mention in my previous comment I’m also 6foot so I’m not
on the short side lol

superscootkid says:

@GolferPapa most people just keep the stock shaft in a driver and he’s not
reviewing the head but the hole club how most people buy it and keep
it(stock) it is not unbiased he is being factual and doing a true test of
what the club is like and not just the head.

revoxmediaHD says:

What if your 6ft4 like me? Would the length suit me?

Victor says:

I have the Burner 2.0 my coach told me to get it cut down 2 inches, I cut
off 1.5 inches, its stupid long. I’m 5’10” dont know about other people but
I had it regripped as well and just had to shorten it. Other than that it
definitely hits the ball far, when I first had it, I hit it over the fence
(300+ yards) and yes it’s really really loud.

X942K6 says:

that’s “UP”!
